Gday Kev & Chris, cracking video (tip with scaler bag for squid is like Darren mentioned, cutting the tip of the hood off, also rip out the head, tumbler should then deal with everything else left behind) Hope you had a good Christmas Cheers 🍻👍🏼
Hi guys. We love Venus Bay. We first stayed there in 2008 when we bought our first van from Esperance and we've taken friends there a couple of times since. Enjoy.
Hey guys, I enjoy following your travels and am pretty impressed with your setup. It was a good idea extending the Ranger, it looks really capable. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Happy New Year Kev and Chris. Absolutely loving the new vids. Can I please pick your brains for a little advice? My wife and I are heading to the Eyre for the first time in a couple of weeks to explore. As usual we a time poor and want to cram as much fishing and what the Eyre has to offer in. My question is, while in the Streaky Bay, Venus Bay area which would you recommend basing ourselves in, particularly from a fishing point of view? Our set up is very similar to yours. Thank you in advance and please keep sharing your adventures
Hey Kev for a better result try cutting off about 20mm from the end of the squid tube before you put them into scale bag👍
Great video. Yes,removing the tip and head gives the best result in the scaler bag. Flushes right thru the tube.
Smoky bay, must go, eat oysters, catch squid, heaven.
Happy New Year lady and gentleman (and friends)
