    I have the T 264 and am hours away from completing the 50 hour service. I am kind of dreading it. Not so much the fluids, filters and greasing, but my tires are filled and I don't know how I will get the back wheel on. I was in an accident back in 1985 and I broke my back and been using a wheelchair since. 30 years ago I probably could have wrestled it on but my shoulders are shot from doing everything with my arms for close to 40 years. It seems like I saw tire dolly that had rollers on it somewhere so you could spin the tire and line up the lugs. It will be an adventure to say the least, but I'll get it!

      I wasn't happy to find out they weren't filled, but it did make it easier. Next time won't be so easy. However I did learn something. If you use a good hydraulic jack you can use the jack to line up the holes with the lugs by raising and lowering the jack. To turn the lugs you just start the tractor and spin the axles with the forward and reverse pedals to line the lugs with the holes. It worked surprisingly well. Just make sure it is only in 2wd

      Thanks. It has been a great little tractor. I put almost 200 hours on it just last summer and haven't had any issues with it. Very happy with it so far.

    How much did everything cost in oil and filter for the 50-hour maintenance ?
    Just want to know how much so I have an idea when I go to buy the stuff.

    • @DevaultFamilyLiving
      @DevaultFamilyLiving  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I bought extra oil, extra filters, a pump for the hydraulic oil, and grease when I did this. So I spent more then you normally would. To be honest, I couldn't give you an accurate answer. I would make a guess and say roughly $150 - $200 for all the oils, and filters.

    Well done, mine should be ready next week. I like how clean it looks w/o the decals, were they easy to remove?

      Thanks. For some reason I have always had a thing with decals & emblems. I take them off everything I have. Not sure where I got that from.

    Hello thanks for the video on service! I have my TYM T25 arriving soon and have been watching every video I can find. One I cannot find is a video of where all the grease points are. Is it possible you can do a video on where they all are? Thank you

    • @DevaultFamilyLiving
      @DevaultFamilyLiving  ปีที่แล้ว

      I may be able to do that. I just can't promise it will be soon. Unfortunately my normal job has me working some pretty extensive hours this summer. It doesn't give me a lot of extra time for filming. The tractor is at our second property so I only get a limited amount of time to be there. Most of the zerks are pretty easy to find and are actually visible. The only ones that come to mind that are not obvious are the 2 on the front axle (one on the front side center point, and one on the back side exact opposite of the one on the front), and one one each side of the floor boards (these are for the foot pedal pivot points). Those particular grease points were covered in this video starting at 19:38 minute mark. Pay particular attention to the front axle one. I have heard it is pretty easy to push a seal out if your not careful. Congrats on the new T25. I hope you will be as happy with yours as I have been with mine. It has certainly paid for itself to this point. Thanks for watching and have a great day.

      2 on the front axle and 2 on the pedad shaft each side, I found no other than that on the tractor@@DevaultFamilyLiving

    What size of socket did you use for each step?

    • @DevaultFamilyLiving
      @DevaultFamilyLiving  ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest I had them all written down and was going to put it in the description. Unfortunately I misplace the paper and never did get back around to it. I will try to do that when I get back up to the property.

    Obviously your rear tires aren't ballasted. Mine are about 400 lbs per tire and a real chore to take on and off.

    • @DevaultFamilyLiving
      @DevaultFamilyLiving  ปีที่แล้ว

      You would be correct. I was a little upset when I went to pull them off and realized they weren't. I specifically requested it before they delivered it to me. The dealer said that they would have it done, and obviously never did. Fortunately they did not charge me either. Another project that I will have to do myself in the spring.
