I have just discovered your channel recently and now I’m a great fan of you. Your videos are so useful and informative for comparing different brands and models of violins, strings, etc. Hope you will continue with your videos for a long time.
Thank you for the string comparison. It was a pleasure to listen to you. And your violin has a wonderful sound. I love pirastro eudoxa strings but they are very sensitive to temperature changes. I'm going to try wondertone solo now and I'm excited. 😊🎻
Thank you for that informative comparison I want to know what’s the deference between the perpetual original and the new version (the cadenza ) in terms of warmth , darkness , depth and longevity ! , plus is cadenza medium or low tension ?? If you make a video comparing these two that would be awesome !
I think the Gold sounded best recorded here, but I love my Pirastro Eudoxas. I'm gonna try their Passione next since gut strings are great, but combine it with their Gold E.
If I may give my two cents: Evah greens are brilliant and last a long time - Evah Gold are VERY brilliant at first but tend to lose sound as quick as 3 or 4 weeks, setting them back to the "green" sound. I personally would just stay on the green set and not keep spending money unnecessarily. I DO opt for and buy a single gold-wound Evah Gold string because it balances well with my other strings. But that seems to be all that the Pirazzi Gold have to offer.
@@liamnevilleviolist1809 Just read the information online, from Pirastro itself, or ask any luthier. Greens are brilliant, Golds are warmer, between the greens and Obligato. Very easy to tell on my three violins.

I loved the obligato sound best!
Thank you for sharing 🥰🥰
You're very welcome Lyn!
Very informative and awesome bonus -Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Awesome video, would love a few more brand spotlights for such as Larsen, Thomastik, and D’Addario. Just wishful thinking :)

And the chords pirastro Chrome cord?
What violin is this? It has a good sound
Obligato or Evah Gold : not easy to decide ...
Obligato kills the high frequencies. For me it's between the Evahs, green and gold.
It's hard to tell the difference between the greens and the golds on that cheap violin.

@@liamnevilleviolist1809 Evah Gold are always warmer than the greens when new.
@@LordCarmesimXXVII I've never had that experience myself.
But you know, we all have different violins/violas and they all react differently..
