Very misleading information, there is no way you can leave the Ashanti King out of this list, unless maybe he is wealthier than the people you have mentioned. He has over 10 million population in his kingdom, they produce majority of food sustained in Ghana and export to the world, they have the largest cocoa farms which alone give the Kingdom multi million dollars every year, they have so many natural resources. As an army African American who have read, travel to Africa many times and visited many African places. The Ashanti kingdom is globally recognised as a very wealthy Kingdom with rich culture for centuries, they have enormous natural rich resources, in terms of farming alone they have cocoa which alone can sustain the kingdom forever as cocoa is one of the richest trading commodities in the world and it is widely used in the whole world, cocoa alone is the only tree that is used for almost everything, from food to cream etc. it always in demand, US alone consume billions of dollars worth of cocoa annually. Ashanti kingdom have the largest tourism per capita annually in Ghana and also in Africa (I am only talking about kingdoms not countries). In US here alone hundreds of thousands pilgrims travel to the Ashanti kingdom learn about it. We study their ancient war formation here in the military college that alone give them hundreds of millions of dollars, just like Morocco earn similar amount from Spain for protecting their borders so no one can cross. Ashanti kingdom have direct trade with Europe and US here. Remember the ASHANTI KING have been invited by the United nations as their special guest 2 times, that is a whole different level of honour. He has direct rule to his own people of over 10 million citizens, so to put a price tag on the ASHANTI KING, you'll have to do a lot of home work. He is too wealthy.

There is so much history written about this kingdom, we wear their symbols, we wear their Kente for our graduation and study their symbols like the Egyptians. This King has huge respect, check how many top world leaders, Kings, Queens, Prince and Princesses visit him in Africa Annually. Actually, I am an Asante. Born in a town of Ntonso in Kumasi. There are alot you have read that is wrong. The symbols are not of Ashanti kingdom but that of the Bono region of Ghana. Just coz leaders visit you doesn't mean you are rich. There are other kings and queen whom other world leaders visit in Ghana.
