To cover their liability in the case of any missing information, bookmakers would most likely increase their "margin of safety" when providing odds for individual player markets. Hi lad! Wow you are a master at Excel!! What I want to be able to do is create a basic pickleball (or tennis) round robin generator for social play events that I run at my local tennis club. We only play doubles (so 4 per court). Because every session is different based on who turns out, the generator needs to accommodate the variables. Number of players, maximum of 30 Number of courts, maximum of 7 Number of rounds, maximum of 10 It needs to then tell me for example, Round 1, Court 1 players 1&9 vs 2&8, Court 2, 3&7 vs 4&6 and so on. Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

One of the limitations of the ELO model is that it can’t do over/under goals accurately, as it doesn’t take into account the Attack and Defence strength of teams (only their overall ratings). However, it is possible to use the difference in ELO ratings between two teams to come up with a handicap or goals line.
@@excel_ladz I know you could use the Poisson method to predict under and over goals, but mostly it won't be accurate, and you have to download various league tables(English, German e.t.c) Is there a model to perform this task?

For example leaderboard with Season 1 with the goals scorers, leaderboard with Season 2 with the goals scorers,..etc. And One leaderboard with the all time goalscorers. To make it that the leaderboard with the all time goalscorers it is updated automatically when seasons leaderboards get new goals.

I can't see a reason for this. In my 'away_score' column I do have a formula (just for ease as the score is always out of 11). Could it be this causing the problem? It doesn't seem to be affecting other columns in table. Any ideas please?
Thanks lad 💪 Using the SUMPRODUCT function, you could grab the number of away wins. Then, instead of multiplying by 3, you would multiply by 4 (added bonus point). This same concept can be applied for a draw too.

I'm facing a similar issue with a model I'm currently working on. I have 27 players who need to play against each other twice. However, whenever I set the team number to 27, the fixtures don't look correct. When I reduce the team number to 22, the fixtures appear accurate.Please what can I do to resolve this? @excel_ladz????

idk why but when I input a score only the away team displays as a match played but for the home team it dosent

I used a free version which works great, but because I have 22 teams it creates drama !!!
