Joel Kramer Israel Study Tour - #3 Nazareth

The Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth, Israel, is built on top of the house that Mary, the mother of Jesus, lived when the angel Gabriel announced to her that should would bear the Son of God. The church that was built over the site in 1740 was demolished in 1955 and replaced with the current structure, giving archaeologists opportunity to dig down to the bottom layer, the house of Mary. The Church of the Annunciation has magnificently preserved the evidence found and in this video, Joel describes the layers and their significance to the Christian faith.

Have you compared the Jewish house under the church of the Annunciation to the holy house of Loreto, which claims to be the house of Mary from Nazareth which miraculously transported to Loreto?
