How do you change the keyboard on these watches? I have the DW99 and there is a 'simple input method' app in the app store that comes with it. However, even when installed and selected in settings/manage keyboards, it still uses the default 'gboard'. You can't delete or disable gboard because it's a system app. Can't figure it out!

I just ordered a silver DW99 4G/64G from aliexpress for $50 USD on sale. It was just shipped, so, I should get it in the mail in a couple of weeks. I plan to dress it up with a stainless steel apple band... Some are offering a 8G/128G and 256G versions...

Buddy, are you really sure that you saw 2GB ROM? At 04:46 it is clearly mentioned that the Total Storage = 32GB . Later in the Build Number tapping part, 2GB RAM is shown. If you are having trouble, I would recommend you to zoom in during this part! Maybe you’re mistaken.
Wonderful and precise comparison, exactly what I was looking for, thank you! As the owner of an ancient but extremely powerful Android watch AN1 (from 2014 !) I am looking for a replacement, as its battery is dead and Android 4.0 is hopelessly outdated. The CD10 is more attractive to me in your feature comparison, fits my taste and needs better. Albeit BOTH of these modern watches seem to miss a lot of the old AN1 functionality: I do not see a magnetic compass, I do not see an FM radio, there is no microSD slot etc. My biggest concern is the probably locked OS, ie. I do not see whether these new watches are ROOTED (allowing access to the \Data area), for full control of the operating system? Would the Magisk tool work to open these watches up for SuperSU control? I like to fiddle with my wrist watches, try to install all practical apps on them, turning them into a full blown computer. My tweaked and modded AN1 had 150+ apps installed and could even measure radioactivity with a modified built-in camera and a unique university project application. Will a CD10 from 2024 ever get as far as a decade old $50 Android watch could go??! Thanks!

It would be nice if you posted the LTE Bands and 5G bands so we would know if it would work for our areas. Aliexpress on some of those don't show the 5G bands only the 4g which makes no since.

It can't, it's an Android Watch and works like a smartphone. By Android watch it does not mean its compatible with Android devices, it means that it runs the Android OS like an Android smartphone and its not a bluetooth smartwatch

After checking it myself and hearing complaints from many users, I have analysed that its probably a 1 gigabit ROM instead of 1 gigabyte which only equals 125 Megabytes

It's pretty pathetic that the watch is advertised everywhere with 2 gigabytes of ROM. Is it exactly the same with the Hello Watch 3 plus? BTW: It would be nice if you do a video, with your recommendations of the best apps for Android smartwatches, in future.

As far as I have checked, it can't! Maybe there is an android app which can make it show banners but by default it doesn't

They work like an Android Smartphone, I haven’t used much Android devices so I’m not 100% sure about it! But if a smartphone can do it, it can too!
