Please don’t just tell random people about this guy. 1. They will think you’re crazy for listening to random beep boops and complain there’s too many arpeggios. 2. In the off chance they like it they will show up drunk, loud and just film him DJing on their phones or whatever other weird crap normies do. I usually want every artist I like to be extremely successful, but Wata’s music is an absolute treasure.
On his instagram, Wata said that the nature surrounding him pushed his sound in a cosmic direction. Couldn't agree more because the set is out of this world. And what beautiful cinematography. Wonderfully synced with the music. The lush green mountains which suddenly turn barren and then green again, just like his music which is sometimes dark and sometimes light. Magnificent set and great work by Etched.

I absolutely love this series and Wata's performance in particular. I had the great pleasure to see him perform a set in Berlin many years ago and support him and his art since then.
Finally saw him play live 2 nights ago in San Francisco. It was my first techno / electronic music outing since the pandemic and what a set it was! I love this guy! 🙌🏼
I wonder how he could slow down the set at about half of the video playtime, without any skipping, what clock is it? Rock solid it seems. Pleae make another set with Wata !
I could have seen this guy live when I arrived in Melbourne 2 years ago, and I didn't because I didn't want to fuck my sleep rythm after a huge jetlag recover. Since then I have only been able to go see ONE good techno live... I should have wenttttt
このライブシリーズ、この3回で止まってるのめちゃくちゃ勿体無い。もっといろんなライブ×景色が見たい!
