As indigenous people of Aotearoa New Zealand, Maori, my people have been assimilated into dominant Euro-culture style of worship n have been subjected to racism in everyway from the European members, & still since SDA came here Maori are not equally represented or acknowledged to be worthy of major contributors to our conference or boards. I draw courage to re-ignite the fire of an independent 'regional conference' to reach n nurture my people in the Word n come to know the Saviour.. praise the Lord for your discussion...!

Europeans are the last to rule on earth and their actions were prophetically predicted by God in Daniel and Revelation. That beast John couldn't describe as well as the feet and toes mixed with iron and clay which Daniel saw, all represented Rome which is now modern day Western Europe. Everywhere they've sailed, death, destruction, oppression, suppression, and every other evil followed. Sadly, they commit these evils in the name of Christ as well. I believe that even if the Regional Conferences were to dissolved the White Flight and subtle prevailing bias would still, unfortunately continue in the church. I pray that all bigots and bigotry be shaken out of the church.🙏🏽

Finally, the history of the African American Christain Adventist and People of Color in the SDA Church! Jesus lived in Africa! Yes, Yes, I found what I have been looking for Sabbath keeping history in African proving that Seventh Day Adventist are not the only ones who keep or have kept the Seventh Day Sabbath other than the Jews!
May be if more Adventist young people now this history of the Adventist Church so many would not feel the need to break away, because the Bible says, " the truth will set you free." For they do not have to give up my Blackness just because I am a Seventh Day Adventist.

Unfortunately I took my daughters to a Black Adventist church in Oklahoma City and I was not welcomed. We were not given a welcome, and My young daughters weren’t taken to Sabbath School. There was a potluck every one was talking about, but no invitation was given. I was looking for another church since I didn’t like the politics in the current church I had been going to. I did attend another black church and was truly welcomed. Unfortunately bigotry goes both ways.
In Deuteronomy 4:2 Moses declares, “You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commands of the Lord your God which I command you.” The only way in which we can rightly “keep” God's commands is to not add or subtract from his word.
But being a Christian and a disciple of Jesus Christ is not about race it is about being like Jesus in everything we do all races have something to offer to God's Kingdom.
Lord, I thank you for allowing me to find my answers because I learn to pray. Jesus is coming soon and He is encouraging us to look at all of the sins in our live, Black, Yellow, Red, and White, because salvation is not about race, it is about having a Holy character!
Again Christianity of salvation is not about race, culture, or nationality it is about being humanely correct in the things of God Biblically as a child of God no matter what your race is.
