I understand the fans are mad, but Messi is probably the last person on earth you should be mad at. For everything that happens, there’s a reason. Do you think a football celebrity worth hundreds of millions just wakes up one day and decides to disrespect a whole bunch of his fans? Why? Just so he could get booed in public by nearly 40,000 of them in a stadium? I mean, which part of that story makes sense to you? If it was truly Messi’s fault, shouldn’t he have been sued already? No one is revealing the details of the contract, and yet everyone wants to put all the blame on him. Is THAT even legal? This kind of mentality does not help Hong Kong whatsoever. It is only telling the world that Hong Kong does not respect contractual agreements. Didn’t you think you had to communicate with Messi and his manager beforehand about things you wanted him to do, and thought you could ‘pressure’ him last minute with your ‘demands’? Who do you think you are? This guy probably has multiple contracts with hundreds of terms and conditions he needs to abide by. He can’t just agree to do stuff last minute; it’s not even his choice. It is clear something went wrong in the arrangement in HK, and MAYBE, just MAYBE if those who are TRULY responsible for this can have the good conscience to do some self-reflection and compare what they did in HK to how it was done in Japan, they would’ve found the answer to why things turned out the way they did in Hong Kong. So to these people, I'd say STOP politicizing it, STOP being a giant baby, and STOP blaming everything and everyone else but yourself for your own mistakes. Be better and learn from them. OWN your stupid mistakes and STOP making Hong Kong a worse place!
Totally agree! There must be thorough calculation behind Messi's decision in hk. What hk was asking him to do would definitely hurt his credibility commercially in my opinion... Yet I'm still optimistic about the entertainment industry in hk. Tatler's half-refund could be a fair settlement. On the other hand the tickets really did sell in a very high price. Hopefully there will be more big shows and megastars visiting hk in the future~❤️
@manwan9370 Since you understand cantonese you can go look up someone called 劉定堅. He made a couple videos explaining what most likely happened. Basically, no one dealt properly with Messi's agent, so Messi was not allowed to do anything. Japan has an organizer which is much more experienced so they knew what to do and all the terms had been negotiated ahead of time, that's why Messi was more relaxed when he was there.

🤣 respectable profession okay?@manwan9370

Nice analysis!

Sad😢😢
KOBE BRYANT
