A suggestion .. Get a britta filter jug and fill it and keep it in the fridge. I do that with my ice machine and not only do I filtered ice its cold and keeps down the cleaning to every few weeks.

Probably not a very efficient design if its not maintaining the ice its already made...

jedics You idiot. It isn’t designed to maintain ice, it’s designed to just MAKE ice. If you don’t use any of the ice it just gets recycled back into the process of “making” ice. It’s not a fridge or means to store cold water, it’s designed to “just make the ice”

Lol, what we do for Love. So how's the ice maker thus far. I got one from Aldi's was good up to the very last month of warranty (1yr) called company. No responses since June 2017 :-(
