Definitely a reused track, but that's ok! Because I'm not expecting them to make 30+ versions of the original fight theme.

I've been thinking of that too. Maybe in the Lifestream sequence, both Cloud and Tifa will guide/help each other since it seems like Tifa's past has changed too.

I've seen just about every trailer so far and I have to give massive props to the production team, they are absolutely killing it with the colour schemes. They've made a truly stunning visual contrast between all sorts of thematic elements and locations. The harsh metallic greys and neons of Shinra, the washed out browns and greys of a landscape where mako production has sucked the land dry, the vivid greenery and blue skies that remain of the still living landscapes, the poisonous greens of the lifestream, the vivid reds of the Nibelheim fire, and the eerie purples representing Sephiroth/Jenova.
Everything is so well realized you can still frame on just about any moment in the trailer and get a very good sense of location and theme just going off the colours alone.
Rebirth is a Masterpiece.
I hope it wins a Masterpiece Award.
What I’ve experienced in this game, I have never experienced in any game in the last decade.

As a child I always wanted to play Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy games and really wanted a PlayStation but never got one, so I grew up watching Let’s Plays of these games and FF7 is so nostalgic for me despite me never playing it. Now I finally have the adult money to buy a PlayStation with, and I’m getting hyped up watching this trailer - I can finally play this game!!

I'm so fucking happy i got into these games this month, my first game was ff7 remake intergrade, and its been incredible. Very lucky to have started that game only a couple weeks away from its sequel releasing.

It's interesting how Sephiroth says "I will reclaim our world" at 0:46, whereas in the flashback in Remake he says "Mother, together *we* will reclaim our world."

Cloud has always been that emotional. You don't need to imagine a new side to him because it's always been there. If you can't see or imagine it then you obviously have no clue who Cloud really is.

Steve Burton has been Cloud's VA up until this game. So yeah, we've heard his voice plenty. And CC is not a spin off. It's a prequel. And it's like I said, if you have to hear Cloud to get emotional with all the other things he's said without a VA, then you don't know Cloud. You're attempt to understand what I said with sentences like "We've heard his voice plenty" & "Steve Burton voiced his character up until remake" makes it painfully obvious you have no idea what is even being discussed. I'll simplyfy it for you.
1. Cloud in AC & KH is a stoic character he doesn't have many moments where he's Cloud from Nibelheim. Outside of yelling Sephiroth he's monotone. Which is because Steve was always forced to voice Cloud in a more depressive reserved state.
2. Steve voiced Cloud 1st in KH where Cloud was modeled off of Vincent which isn't accurate to his character. Despite how interesting it is.
3. What the OP was referring to is how emotional Cody's performance has been. Steve's most emotional scene is in AC & CC. AC in the Church with Tifa. CC Nibelheim & ending. So no we have never heard Cloud that emotive before until now esspically in terms of Main FF7 events.
4. You saying we heard his voice plenty means absolutely nothing for what is being discussed. We all know Steve has voiced the character for decades. That doesn't mean he's been able to explore the entire range of Cloud's character since he's restricted to depressed Cloud for most of his run even in Dissida & WoFF.
5. If you're going to actually quote OG Dialogue actually recite one where Cloud is yelling. You quoted his dialogue after Aerith dies which more subtle. A better choice would've been Northern Crater Black Materia, or after he attacks Aerith I'm Temple of the Ancients.
But you understand the character? Changing your username & Avatar don't make you Cloud. If anything your the most ignorant here because you don't even understand what's being discussed.
This trailer is great and Cloud screaming Tifa’s name with so much emotion was definitely the highlight for me! There are so many character moments I’m looking forward to in this game! The music sounds incredible and action look awesome! This game is going to be something truly special!

The closer we get the more I am realizing all the amazing story arc moments from each character and i immediately got overwhelmed 😂😭 Not just Aeriths moment (which is huge), but Cids story arc IMO is gonna be one of the most emotional moments in gaming history (presentation wise).

Man, I'm so hyped. FF7 was my favorite game of all time growing up. It was the first rpg I ever played and as far as I remember, the first game I played with an actual story. It showed me that games could be art instead of just timekillers. It's so awesome getting to see these characters I've loved since childhood in lifelike detail, like seeing old friends again after years apart. The combat in the original was always my favorite out of all the turn based FF games, the materia system was awesome and easy to understand and is still one of my favorite magic systems to this day. I love the combat in Remake, I feel like it was a perfect blend of old and new, action and menu juggling, and I really think it should be a template for FF games moving forward since it seems they want to only do action rpgs now. Combat in 7R was just so much fun and super flashy to boot, and it looks like Remake is on track to be bigger and better in that regard with things like team attacks. Can't wait to see where the story goes, only another month and a half to find out. Thank you Square, for bringing a modern touch to a game that was so important to my childhood!

And Storywise, we reached Junon, no ship yet and haven’t fought the giant fish, but I feel like next chapter of FF7 we will along with a Jenova. (Partially I really want to see Red XIII in his disguise)

I first played the original 3 years ago, have no nostalgia glasses at all, and I fell in love with it. I have chills, CHILLS watching this, im so excited and happy id almost cry. I absolutely love FF7. The story, the characters, the music, its made a profound impact on me and I couldnt fall more deeply in love with the world they have created, this looks amazing. Please don't disappoint.

The demo was AMAZING! The only big problem i have is that the camera is way too zoomed out in combat and all the camera settings only allow it to be even more zoomed out instead of zoomed in/closer to remake.
I hope they add/release a patch that lets you zoom in more.
