Orphaned as a child, Dinah had to learn to fight for herself at a young age. After many of life’s twists, she would eventually possess one of the most powerful sonic screams in the world and becoming a founding member of The Bird of Prey.

Interesting facts about Black Canary
∙ Black Canary has some of the most convoluted origins of any character. There are around 4 separate versions of her origin story.
∙ Black Canary’s cry is so powerful that it destroyed an entire island and even made Superman‘s ears bleed and can launch her over long distances.
∙ In the many different versions of Dinah's origins, She has also been trained by top tier fighters such as Wildcat, Lady Shiva, Cassandra Cain and Wonder Woman.
∙ Her Canary Cry has been depicted as having the capabilities as most sonic weapons, ten-fold and has even been depicted as breaking metals and as having the resonance to affect and shatter the Earth.

She was trained by Wildcat, Wonder Woman, Cassandra Cain and Lady Shiva herself. She also beat Batman before. Speaking about them can you make Lady Shiva and Cassandra Cain? Also Talia Al Ghul and Barbara Gordon. Dang DC has so many good females my list can go on...lol. Edit: you already did Cassandra Cain👍.

Yes, and in some comics The original blackcanary was Dinah Drake who was a member of
The J.S.A.....Then she had her daughter who was also named Dinah and took her mother's maiden name Dinah Lance in respect to her mother because the original blackcanary/Dinah Drake would die in WW2.Then is some story lines Dinah lance Dinah Lace takes up the mantel of Blackcanary after discovering she had the same powers aka the Canarycry as her mother,and gets married to Greenarrow and they have a daughter named olivia and Olivia becomes the new blackcanary after Dinah lance died and when her Father Oliver Oliver Queen aka the GreenArrow dies she takes up both their mantels and becomes
Blackarrow
And yet the Arrowverse made it the most complicated origin ever.

@@NEARReiCtor8799 they made her a civilian, created a new character with the perfect habilities, backstory and suit just to kill her in order to make Laurel the black canary by taking two boxing classes, when she started to grow up as a vigilante they killed her to pander olicity and after that they bring a Laurel from a parallel earth that was a villain and a random police officer with the canary cry and called her Dinah Drake like the golden age canary

Actually, I think 🤔 I'd rather see them team-up together against their main nemesis or main enemies if you will . Canary versus Brother Blood, DeathStroke, or DragonClaw from the League of Assassins ( Batman-The Animated Series 🤔). For Black Widow, there's a few options. HYDRA, AIM, and possibly some others ? That would cool to see, and bring in the JLA and SHIELD as well !

That second origin is the one I know. That first one sounds like a whole different character. I thought Lynch was in charge of Gen 13. There was that time she lost her sonic scream in the Long Bow Hunters story. Possibly one of the best Green Arrow/Black Canary stories.

Comic Origins her new 52 origin is pretty interesting. although I felt her being a government agent and geting her Canary cry from experimentation was a bit too much. I thought they could have cut that part out than it would have worked a bit better for me.

DCEU didn't even come close to doing her justice in Birds of prey movie. Black Canary is insanely skilled fighter, the real Black Canary would have soloed the entire Birds of prey villains easily.

Interesting origin of the Black Canary ! The comics often had her paired with Green Arrow ; I thought she was his ward or something 🤔? Curious as how Canary 🤔 willingly volunteered for a top-secret governmental genetics experiments project and now she's 😳 a Mutant of sorts ? If I hadn't seen this video, I'd have guessed she was related to WonderWoman, WonderGirl, or had something weird happen to her before her birth, in her childhood 🤔, or as young woman ? Going to see if I can find Birds of Prey on DVD 📀 !

I didn't know in her first origins, she trained with the government along side death stroke, or was a experimented super solider. That's pretty interesting. It would seem Dinah and Green Arrow always end up together, true love! :) Her scream is amazing, but how would she do against silver banshee?
