More than one night of hilarity with friends in those places. Sad to see they are now rubble. I am not that old, 35 now. From the Clarkton to the McDonalds was all western bars, except for the one Korean restaurant that even Westerners used to enjoy. Then the Korean bars came with "Korean only" signs, on the Jollibee side of the road. I used to love Club Asia, Carousel, the Cave. Do they still exist? I actually saw one of my friends I made all those years ago working still on walking street, so I know the more things change, sometimes the more they stay the same applies.
