I love this soundtrack. I keep hearing the composer's name (Jon Brion) a lot, and this (and the whole movie, in general), left me a really interesting impression on me. From the technical stuff, to the directing, the story, and the oh, so beautiful, upbeat, and tragic music, Lady Bird left the most impact on me in all the movies I saw in 2017. It left me with those 'I wanna make my own film someday' vibes, it gives me the upbeat jitters. Cheers to Gerwig, Ronan, Brion, and everyone involved in making such a film!
Jon Brion is a musical prodigy. His live shows are mesmerizing. You should hear his album Meaningless, his only long play solo singer songwriter album, or check out The Grays, his former band
Been in love with Jon Brion's scores since I first heard his work in Magnolia way back when. Used to listen to his I Heart Huckabees original score all the time. Great songwriter too. Love this score as well.
One of the reasons that this movie stood out from the usual Hollywood product was the soundtrack. Typical movies utilize major pop culture hits that are used to propel scenes, especially those that have a rousing emotional (usually exuberant) feeling. I am glad that I heard so little of that.
Thank you so much for uploading this.. I rented this at a RedBox with my ex years ago and had the menu music playing on loop for hours and I fell in love with the song... but I've been trying to find the specific song that played on the menu page and it was 17:32 "packing up"... I appreciate you. It brings back a lot of good memories.
There is a song in the film after LB leaves for college with the plane and rides the subway. To my amazement it's the very same song playing that's over the title credits, however, sadly this version is not on the OST.
Reconcile is one of the best. Speaks to the heart.

Yes, that was the version I wanted to find too! Is it the exact same or some kind of reprise?
This Eve of Parting by John Hartford

Can u do more Jon Brion ost? This is awesome thanks
Does anyone have any idea what the song is when Kyle and his band are playing at Thanksgiving in the movie? Can't shazam it, or find it.
Fred Astaire - Adam Brock :)
Throughout the movie I got thinking of a video game called Life is Strange, although this movie doesn’t include any fantasy. I don’t know why.
The 'LB steals math grade book" sounds a lot like something Moondog could have done
this reminds me of the sims
감각적인 사람
Funny how Jon Brion sounds similiar to Joan Didion
