I had heard the Chiang Mai location was the best and I waited almost 2 years for this to be technically my first real zipline experience. I have seen plenty that pale in comparison or just go over patches of dirt. This one really is in the canopy of the jungle. Of course a go pro would have been optimal but I don't have one yet. They don't actually want people bringing loose bags or heavy 'stuff', but my video cam was just passable for them to say yes. It's one of those must try at least once.
I didn't realize you could zipline in Chiang Mai! Looks like a lot of fun!! I'd probably be kind of nervous but the sound of the babbling brook is quite calming
You should! Also tell them that Flight of the Gibbon Chiang Mai also has a Segway AND Zipline Tour doable in the same day. I have no segway footage because I was not hands free videoing and a bit clumsy with the Segway. But I also love that a lot.
At first, I said to myself "That's a really short zipline." That second zipline looked like the mother of all ziplines. How far away was that from Chiang Mai?
I think it took us a couple of hours to get their. The company will pick guests up and drop them off so the distance included a couple of stops along the way. And yes that 2nd zipline scared the you-know-what out of me. :D I wasn't expecting it and had my instructions reversed. Legs down to be slower, legs up to be fast. The action shot they take of guests is at the end of this run, so my photo was pretty embarrassing. I hope no one saw it. :D
Those little kids blew me away with how brave they were. And riding together was so cute. The monkeys are Gibbons. Thus Flight of the Gibbon. Unfortunately that was the only shot I could get of them. Only saw the two.
Zip lines are so much fun! I can't wait till my kids are old enough to do this!
Sounds so calming and peaceful.I love zip lining so much fun.
The rainforest zipline experience in Chiang Mai looks and sounds incredible. Would love to do it soon!
I never actually made it over to this when I was in Chiang Mai was always disappointed about it - thanks for showing me what it's like!

Yes. It looked like a long scary cable.
My son would just love it! I would be a bit netvous though. What type of monkey or animal was it that swung through the trees?
