Does the baking soda give a funny taste to the meat, would it be better to use the baking soda and leave for 20 minutes or so and then rinse the meat to get the soda out
@@t12511Yes you can rinse with water if you like. I've seen some chefs do this method. Original Chinese recipe only use a little baking soda like 3g so it won't be too noticeable. Rinsing is good otherwise.
