thank you for making the essentials free. it means a lot to broke bedroom producers like me, having access to a bank of no-nonsense fx I can rely on

I'm a bit late to Kilohearts...but already using the Chorus, Transient shaper and...I absolutely love the Trance gate for creating some sequencer like pulses underneath the music. I just tried that on left and right rhythm guitars track where there are Nashville-tuned electric guitars...lovely choppy banjo-like tight strum comes up....cool thing! Thanks!

Like the ring mod reminder, and the notion of using the transgate on opposite channels with different settings. Thanks.

Awesome. Yeah, glad you enjoyed it. A lot of these effects get crazy-powerful when you remember you can use them on L/R channels as a kind of stereo pair, or in Snap Heap as parallel effects, or in Multipass as multiband. A lot of them seem sort of basic on their own, but that's by design - so that they can be super-versatile in a modular system.

Would it be possibly for a future update to add a swing parameter to the trance gate?

Why is it impossible to change the resolution parameter on the Trance Gate ???
The only way is to access the randomize button and hope for the best !
    Bugs ???

Sounds like a bug. Can you email support@kilohearts.com about that with details of your OS and DAW so we can investigate. Thanks! ❤️

As someone NEW to audio, it'd have been really nice had he adjusted from what it was into what it becomes... OR as he seems to possibly be giving a presentation and time may be a factor (requiring on/off as he did, as opposed to adjusting in real-time)... If he would have at least turned it on during a period where it was already off.
    Going from off...
    Then talking...
    Then on...
It can make untrained ears (such as mine and likely many others) really STRUGGLE to hear the difference, because we are not going directly from A to B.
