I'm 60 too, Joanne but was lucky enough to find an amazing place 30 years ago (in South Africa where I lived then) that brought me along on the journey from toppers to full wigs that were regular caps ...John Renau Allure was my first. I remember the excitement of the first mono tops and when lace fronted monos came out, I was in heaven. I used to be so scared that someone would see I was wearing a hairpiece/wig but now I rock a different style or colour one day to the next. Alopecia was always worse for me than my weight problem but we overcome. The sisterhood is real. Big hugs.
Thanks for this review, Denise. I just started my wig journey along with hours of your tutorials! I got my Girl Mono on your enthusiatic recommendation. I need curls--always have had them so the curls didn't scare me, but my bio color is salt and pepoer now, and I was thrilled to find girl mono in this gray tone. I love the rooting and ash dark under color, which was my original color. I get tons of compliments. Working on the styling. Plannjng to try the steam to get that lift off my face. Bless you!!
Oh wow, large head like me!! And the color is my dream as a former dark brunette!! Love everything about it. Economy hurting too bad for me to do it tho. And I don’t see it getting better unfortunately. Thank you for showing it to us though, it is simply beautiful! I think you look fabulous in this color also, it really does incredible things for your eyes ☺
Oh yippee yippee and yippee! I am so excited. I’m a little hard to fit. I’m a medium/large. Not a petite/medium which I see under some descriptions. But I’ve been drooling over this beauty for ages knowing it would be too tight. With this wonderful news that I only recently found out, I ordered her in a large in color101.14.16 (Pearl BlondeRooted!). I can’t wait to get her. If she looks half as good on me as she does on you, I’ll be very happy!❤
I got this wig in the average petite cap awhile ago and I love the wig but found it to keep it on my head. I think it was just a little too small for me. So I’m going to give this large one a try. Thanks for the info and discount.
Denise. not sure why most of the sites I see only offer average wig size, yet the show you how to measure your size. ?? Am I missing something I there sites. Went to there site and they are out of the gray. Looks great on you.

Beautiful curls! It’s amazing how dark the rooted wigs look on video as opposed to natural light. Big difference!
I've worn the large cap Light Bernstein rooted this past summer and fall. My favorite wig. :)
