    Most likely someone already answered this one. You can add a condition to your formulars. Something like =IF(C90;150/C9;0). If C9 is not equal zero, then value is 150/C9, else value is 0.

    Thanks for the breakdown. The math is useful for folks that haven't maxed power & outgoing healing. Since end-game healers have power & outgoing healing maxed, it would be nice to see a breakdown of the tradeoff between divinity gain, crit chance, and crit severity. When you were trying to put 0s in for DG cooldown, you were (almost) expressing the idea of having infinite divinity. The limit as DG cooldown approaches zero is infinite divinity gain (put in a very small number like 0.0000001 to see this). In game terms, if you could spam DG, you would never run out of divinity.

    • @Aragon-
      @Aragon-  ปีที่แล้ว

      the idea is to have 0 in divine glow = not using divine glow.
      It will usually always be better to stack power & outgoing heal over divinity regen

      @@Aragon- Of course, it's always better to stack power & outgoing heal over divinity regen. The comment about DG was because the explanation of #DIV/0! in your spreadsheet was confusing. The part that's missing for me is crit chance & severity vs. divinity regen.

    Thank you so much for this, as you start in the game it is confusing as how divinity regen works, for me personally it matters a bit, since no matter how big of a heal i can put out if i run out of divinity fast and don't have any way to get it back fast, people are going to die. However in time i have found this to be situational, on pug groups when people don't understand how game mechanics work and take damage all the time is when my Cleric suffers the most and i end up using DG on CD to keep up with the damage, on alliance runs i have little to moderate problems if any at all. One thing i would have liked to see on your video is what happens with Charisma, when i started i was spec'd into Wisdom and Dexterity and i had problems with divinity regen, then i switched to Charisma (Wisdom/Charisma now)and started stacking Forte and my problems are less than before, i am not yet at IL 90 so i can't balance my stats yet, but i'm capped on CS and CC, power and OGH is capped with groups (parties), not gonna hit 90% on Forte but i believe it is important as well as the other stats, much more when new trials and dungeons bosses hit harder and can wake up a tank in a rush (hellooo) and you need to have that extra divinity to keep him from going bye bye, it is going to be interesting to see how everything works after the nerf on HW and SL too.

    • @Aragon-
      @Aragon-  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Charisma gives 0.5% Forte per point. You can look at the math how much that would give. It's very little

    • @sun4nicolya
      @sun4nicolya ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are absolutely correct in your thinking. Wisdom + Charisma is the best combination, or one of the best. I have already argued with Aragon on this subject. And here the principle is the same as for DD classes in terms of damage. 3% there, 5% here, another 7% there, and it seems that separately all this is a very insignificant difference, but in the end it turns out that one DD gives out 2 times more damage per dungeon than the other. It's the same with divinity regeneration.

    • @sun4nicolya
      @sun4nicolya ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And one more important point - it makes sense to take a collar and a stone for the speed of recovery. The faster the divine glow recovers, the more likely it is to cast a healing word or bastion in time.

    Ty for this video and calculator. I dont like exaltation because if one of your mate die, you need to recast Healing word without exaltation for the entier group. I like exaltation for my reroll to do rtq, rdq... or on my main just to chill afk healing word, but in endgame, healing word is already strong enought and i prefer play interession for emergency that is free from divinity and let me manage my divinity well. I can also recast healing word when i consider it more efficient than spam bastion (int term of cost and/or healing strenght) the first tic is insane with the right at-will and proc benefit from mono target heal bonuses (shoes and enchantement for exemple)

    Nice move. 11% there 11% here +15% pool + divine glow, and in the end it turns out that one cleric can heal a random group, and the other cannot. Often there are not enough fractions of a second to cast a bastion or a word in time, but these fractions of a second are decisive.

    playing as a Cleric in ps4 i still can Cancel atwill and get my ap back faster then normal mode, now divinity in other hand is a pain, sometimes it refill normal by attacking, but in some situations you have to spam encounters to heal your team, in that situation is a pain in the ass to get dinivinty back
    in Dps mode dthe divnity refill is much faster BUT the problems is that sometimes you spam your encounters attack and 3 o 4 encounetes and you have no divinity to attack, unless you get lucky and get INSTANT REFILL and here´s my question
    how do the instant divinity refill works in Cleric Arbiter mode? on 10 figths in 1 of them i get a instant refill, but the other 9 i dont

    • @edwardhealey591
      @edwardhealey591 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to alternate powers that give different stacks while preventing gaining too many. radiant judgement x1 > burning judgement x1 > radiant judgement x1 > burning judgement x1 > spam at wills to full divinity > repeat > free refill > repeat this cycle throughout the entire encounter.
      You also require the perfect balance feat.

    Im trying to understand the point of this video, if you dont need the divinity Regen from divine glow, simply don't slot it. As a cleric, one of the few non cookie cutter classes, theres a range of ways to use the dc. You dont need cycle of prayer once you have the mtos hat, you dont need the winter fox that gives forte once you're at endgame, so dont use it. Theres only a few places to even get forte in the game for a dc that come to mind, a dragon hunt ring, maybe an mtos ring and a couple places maybe from the very endgame dungeon. Its funny to me to use a preview server toon to make an unnecessary point, the spellplague video didn't prove that divine glow was useless, it just showed that there's other options..dc has options on how you can run it. As an endgame dc, someone who actually uses the class over a course of time and not just for invoking, divine glow works just as this video showed, it regens divinity....if you dont need it, dont use it...use geas, intercession or whatever floats your boat and helps your team at the time. Just an FYI, you dont have to run the apocalypse set or the newer version of it, you have two debuff encounters that work just fine, dont be afraid to use that +9 wis odran set. You're competing with the team using health stones, lbs 😂

    • @matthewrutters6842
      @matthewrutters6842 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a dumb post. Some people want to know if these abilities/mechanics work at all (we're talking neverwinter here). And if they do work, people want to know how effective they are. It's not rocket science.

    • @0Jsays
      @0Jsays ปีที่แล้ว

      @@matthewrutters6842 apparently it is rocket science for some players, like yourself (as you just alluded to). So why reply and not just read to learn? I'll give you a pinch of advice, there's other channels that main this class, that agree with what I said in my REPLY TO ARAGON. People who, like myself, play this class full time and didn't just pick it up all of a sudden to make a little bit of content.And even though we all aren't using the same encounters setup, we all agree that divine glow is great...if you want or need to use it. So go ahead and learn the class, and see for yourself what works for you and your team at that time, but don't tag me 😊. I recommend you go watch other DCs play and see if they're spamming healing word, ijs.

    • @Aragon-
      @Aragon-  ปีที่แล้ว

      Just cause I don't main the class, doesn't mean I can't do some testing an math to provide evidence why people use what they do. I have not seen this done anywhere else, finding the exact numbers for how impactful all the different Regen sources are and how they work together. So I decided to do it, and you are all welcome for it. I provide all this insight for free.
      Why would you question the point of the video, when it is clearly here for information, to provide knowledge. So what if people already have learned the feeling of what is best to use, it is always better to be able to back that up with facts.
      Just cause I know Wood will float, doesn't mean I should not find out why it does, the math behind that, so then for example I can find out how to make metal float, by shaping it correctly..
      Knowledge is power, so why question it when someone puts in the hard work to find that knowledge.

    I appreciate your dedication to finding out what really works, it helps me a lot decide and how to level up. I haven’t had a chance to watch the whole thing, as a pure cleric healer what abilities would I choose? Wisdom/Charisma? Or what two? I’m going with Asimar or possibly a Metalic Dragonborn, but also the AP gain from sun elf looks good, but then I would have to go Constitution and one other for mas AP gain?
