As always you are an inspiration. Your crafty mind is amazing. Who would have thought a roll of receipt tape could be used in junk journals. Amazing on the outcome. I love it, and as always, your crafty mind put all your scraps to good use. I love them. Thank you for sharing and God Bless. Hope your husband is starting to feel better. 🤒☺💝💯👍🤟
Those clusters are so lovely. I particularly like the red one and I am not a fan of the color red. I am very new at making junk journals and I love watching you create. Thank you for all the fresh ideas!
I absolutely love watching you create. I was just reminded that I have one of those paper rolls from my parents business that they sold about 35 years ago and forgot all about it. I've only had it for about 8 years since cleaning their house once LOL Now I know what to do with it. I love your clusters and those lady stickers. ☺♥

I pray that you will not get sick. Take your vitamin D C and zinc I did that when my husband got sick and I didn’t get as ill as he was. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
Sorry to hear your hubby is sick. I guess it is fair play to nurse him now; he supports you so well. May he recover quickly. I could WATCH you make another dozen of these as I always enjoy your selection process. Take care of yourself too.
Oh Margreth, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope that there is someone who will help you both. Take the time you need to recover. My prayers are with you.

I don't like red either! Yet I'm an Aries and supposed to favour red, but my favourite colour is blue. Preferably lighter blues, or denim indigo shades, I really hate royal blue. It reminds me of football kits or boy's bedrooms. Just loud and garish. I also like soft shimmery pinks, or pastels in general but only for appropriate themed things. However, my favourite one of these is the red one! I like the additional airmail tape you added too. She was probably the prettiest girl sticker out of them all as well... I too would have struggled on how to use the rest of them that are more modern and teenage looking. But of course, you only struggled in your mind for a split second of self doubt, because the end results are fabulous. Totally NOT what I would CHOOSE to work with personally, and yet I love the finished clusters! You really do have a great eye for balance and composition. None of the things SHOULD go together, and yet look like they were made to! I think I'm getting a bit more confident about laying out random things together, but only through watching you and taking chances. You probably think what you do is "pretty normal" but it really isn't. Your "formula" is definitely unique, and completely unlike what any other crafter I've seen does.
I like the green flower added, but like you felt there was something wrong about it. I've decided that for me, it's the bit in the centre I'm not keen on. The reason being, that when you first start crafting, and start snatching up every bargain craft pack you can find, those tiny punched out basic flowers are the exact ones that are sold in bargain stores or in the children's arts and crafts sections...you know? There's nothing "wrong" with them in that sense, but they put me in mind of all the cheap stuff I snatched up years ago, that I wouldn't buy now no matter how cheap there were. I remember some ugly felt sunflower head stickers I had, or cutesy glittery bears stickers....like what the F was I thinking? But I guess we all do that in the beginning when we're excited to get going yet don't really know where we're heading. 15-20 years ago I had visions of making and selling my own cards, but that novelty died out pretty quickly! So yeah, I think it's the centre bit of that green flower that I'm not keen on, simply because I remember buying bags of those tiny punched flowers in every colour available because you got loads in each bag and they were only around 99p. So it reminds me of those days of buying craft stuff that was actually aimed at kids. But I like the flower itself. 😁
Anyway I hope if you are ill that you're taking care of yourself! Dose up on paracetamol AND ibuprofen, paracetamol to keep your temperature down and ibuprofen to reduce tenderness and swelling in your muscles and in your sinuses. Best to stay dosed up regardless and not waiting until you're too hot or achy.
Best routine for all day relief is 8am paracetamol, 10am ibuprofen, 12pm paracetamol, 2pm ibuprofen, 4pm paracetamol, 6pm ibuprofen and 8pm paracetamol.
You can take both together completely safely anyway, but to give you almost continuous relief all day, that's the best way to do it.
Paracetamol is 2x 500mg max 4 times a day, (total 8x 500mg) and
Ibuprofen is 2x 200mg max 3 times a day, (total 6x 200mg)
By taking them following this two hourly plan, you'll have pain and temperature relief all day long without losing coverage of either. Whereas if you wait 4-6 hours between doses, you'll be losing the effects and suffering until next dose.
OBVIOUSLY that 8am-8pm timetable covers all of your max daily doses, so if you do follow it, DON'T take any extra pills between 8pm-8am!!!
And drink hot water with lemon juice with honey. Honey is antibacterial and soothes your throat. Drink tons of water!
Have a nice warm bubble bath too to make you feel coddled and looked after, like your Mum would have looked after you as a little girl. And of course if your temperature is high you can get in a cooler bath...not cold...to help bring your temperature down. 37.5⁰ is normal, 38⁰ and above NEEDS to be lowered! 40⁰+ and you're in brain damage entering mode potentially so get to hospital if you really cannot get it down lower! But the timetable and cool baths/fans SHOULD stay on top of it.
Steer clear of dairy too, it promotes phlegm so steer clear until you feel better.
And if you have any hayfever tablets, one of those can really help too. Because while you have flu your sinus membranes are inflamed and sensitive, so an antiallergic pill can really help.
If I was there I'd nurse you both! And just in case you're wondering, I do know what I'm talking about and PROMISE you what I'm recommending is SAFE! TRULY!
Sometimes people advise based on old wives tales, from what their Mother did for them in 1942, or from personal experience....and whilst they may have survived to pass on the advice to others, it doesn't mean those methods are SAFE! But I have no bias in what I'm saying, I am simply telling you what is medically advised and is safe.
