True story. When I was a kid, I hated Prince and my sister was obsessed with him. His music was on all the time. Then Purple Rain came out on vhs. After the third watching, it started to sink in how much of a genius he was, our version of Amadeus. He wrote music for The Time, Apollonia, Vanity 6, Sheena Easton, Sinead O'Connon, Bangles and Sheila E. You don’t have to like him, but you have to respect him. Rest Easy 🤴 ❤

I had my 5 year old granddaughter in my car the other day, she wanted me to turn on the radio. "When Doves Cry' was playing. She LOVED it so I told her about Prince, now Prince is her favorite musician. She was so excited about him that I didn't have the heart to tell her that he's already gone, I just told her he's my favorite too.

What great lyrics, style, charisma, talent, class & sex appeal.❤ Who couldn't love this?🎉 My favorite is Raspberry Berét, but I love all of his songs. Little Red Corvette, Diamonds & Pearls, Cream, Purple Rain, 1999, When Doves Cry, the list goes on... 😊

I went to one of his concerts. He was very in tune with the audience. Played several different music tunes and listened to the audience reaction. He stopped and said you like jazz. It was amazing to see him pick up different instruments throughout the show. ✌💜👑

Yeah, I was born in 1963 so I grew up with Prince's music from his first hit("Soft and Wet") to when he made what I thought was his last great album, "Diamonds and Pearls". I really think his music suffered after he his child died.

I miss Prince so much! I have been in love with him and his music since I was nine years old, now I am 46 years old. My first concert I ever went to was Purple Rain. That experience opened up a love for him, his music, his creativity and his energy. I even love all of the artist who worked with him: Sheila E., Morris Day and the Time, Vanity, Apollonia, Jessie Johnson, Sheena Easton. I love Jerome! He is funny! I love his personality! Cat did not receive enough credit for working with him during the Sign O' The Times/Love Sexy Era. She was a great dancer, singer and talented writer. I loved her! But if I had the choice to marry Prince I would. He was such a sexy and mysterious man! Every year during my birth month of April I celebrate Prince by playing his music! I do , I was a Teenager, when Prince came out. I was in fact Pregnant with my First Daughter. And she’s about to turn 38 years old 09/3 /2021 . I remember when he first came out. He had that first Album with the soft Afro, For YOU ! Then he came on the actual Music scene with the Old School Master Dirty Mind, with Dez and Andre , Bobby Z , and The Keyboard player Dr. Fink. I remember when the Music int, tried to tell Prince, that he couldn’t come on the Grammy Awards , nor the American Music Awards, because he Dressed to raunchy. And Please told them Fuck them , and there Awards shows. They had to pretty much beg him to finally come to the Awards Shows. He didn’t come to the Awards Shows, until he was getting, his OSCAR for Winning For Purple Rain. Then He made Under the Cherry Moon. Then He done Graffiti Bridge, with Telven Campbell . So he was a Movie Star too. And He wrote and done the Videos for Batman too. 😃♥️♥️❤️
