I read it years ago and it was from the library. I just ordered the remastered full color paperback and received it today. Ive been OBSESSED with this ever since i first tackled it and knew next time i read it that it would have to be one i own. I have pens and highlighters ready as i write this. Im taking my time this go round... Im so excited, and you made THE PERFECT review on this. ❤
I personally definitely think it can fall under the horror category. Its just very specific and existential horror. And if you let yourself be absorbed into the story and the way the whole book works it can leave you with a fearful sense of anxiety.
I read it a single chapter at a time. I’d read the original text first, then I’d restart the chapter by reading the footnotes. It felt a lot less choppy this way.
Went into this knowing nothing about it besides my friend recommending it (she never finished) I absolutely loved it. I also was impressed with how well the book guided me through it. It was a wild ride.
I usually use tabs to keep track of notes I've made in the book! You can find them on amazon, just look up "notation tabs." If you'd rather write them separately though, do that! Whatever you want :)
I Just bought the same one you have there for a friend after I heard what a unique experience it is. I did see the hardcover at BnN but it was 70 bucks! I'm glad being a cheapskate paid off. I can't wait to have the space to read it myself!
Never read it, am not a book Person but enjoy hearing about interesting things. I saw a video describing the inside of the house being 3/4 inch bigger thsn the outside? Is the inside pages 3/4 inch wider than the cover?

fr general fiction is the most lazy non-category ive heard of
The one thing that I skipped so far was the letters ughhh I'm glad I've made up my mind that I'm gonna read it again after this and annotate
The letters were my favorite part! By then you're already fatigued from reading, so it can be tempting to skip but I gained SO much from reading them!
Also, I’d love your take on Ship of Theseus. That one intimidated me and is still sitting on the shelf for now. 😂
You did a great job, thanks much for this review!
Have you heard Poe's "Haunted" album? 😊📘🌿
i was like, 20 pages in before looking up how i should properly read this book and this was so so helpful!! thank you so much

Wouldn't i want to take notes separately, like a notebook or text file? If i write notes in the book, i won't find them again

Please do a video on A Short Stay In Hell by Steven L. Peck. Its a brilliant short story on the overwhelmingly size of the libary of babel

I read the book and it was ok, 7/10
Thanks. I just bought the novel. Now I just need advice on how to get in prison for three months. 😊
"Its called the Tardis. Go ahead and say it. You know you want to."
"Its smaller on the outside."
One devistated Doctor. :( lol
I don't know you personally. But I feel as though I've met you. Somewhere, sometime I think we've met.
