I just used rice crispy treats, fondant, and sugar glue! Use whatever sugar glue you prefer. Some people use piping gel, some people use cmc powder mixed with water. Shoes are even hard for me to do, so I decided to not talk about how I do it, just because I struggle myself. But I look at a pic of the shoe. I mold rice crispies to the shape, and layer the fondant on and add the texture. One day I'll do a simpler shoe that is easy to explain and walk through! Lol. Jordan's are tricky

My phone kept dying at certain parts! I meant this to be just a watch me do it vid, instead of instructional vid! Shoes are very hard and I wouldn't be able to explain it, because I even wing it lol. Supplies you need whatever sugar glue you like to use. Some people use piping gel, some people use the cmc powder mixed with some water. Look at a picture of the shoe and with fondant, build upon the layers on the shoe and add the texture using whatever tools you have around that matches texture lol. I was about to do a voice over but it got so hard to explain, I just said forget it I'll let music play lol. Sorry about that!

What is that thing you used that looked like a tissue roll to imprint the top and sides of the shoe?
Oh it's a fondant impression roll that gives fabric texture look! I can't remember where I got it, it was so many years ago
How many days ahead can you make the rice krispie shoe covered in fondant?
Since this is just a topper and not something being eaten, you can make it weeks ahead. Just keep out of sunlight and boxed up

Honestly I don't use a shoe template, I just look at a pic of it and freehand. But there may be a template somewhere out there
