I'll never take having flesh for granted again
Or my guts, lol....
I’m fuckin ded 💀
Or my arm
Please use this thread as a place for giving thanks
I just love how it feels to see indie projects like this overthrow massive IPs
Seriously not just movies. Gaming too.
I am happy for the future.
It's amazing
I agree, it's happening with games as well
To be fair, they completely abandoned this genre. We get waves.
Exciting times 🎉
Art being so gleefully excited to meet Santa Claus made me forgive him for everything bad he’s ever done, that little rascal
1:00 Joker 2 literally made so little impression on me that i had to rack my brain about what "DC comic movie" you were talking about 😂
Same
Same!
Never thought I'd see one of these top the box office charts let alone annihilate a Joker film.
@@kriswillman2779 I did 😂 predicted it to be horror movie of the decade.
It's crazy exciting
I don't get why the first Joker was popular. It was so cringe and it felt like a 16 year old edgy teen wrote the script
Well, Joker 2 is trash so anything is better than that movie. And Terrifier 3 is genuinely a decent film
@@beckee6282 I wouldn't even watch Joker 2. Wasnt keen on the first. I hate musicals.
The thing I've noticed that makes Art stand out from older killers, like Micheal, Freddy, Jason, etc. is that Art never goes for a one shot kill. He'll start with toes, fingers, the face, arms, legs and work his way toward the main part of the body. He savors his kills and makes his victims suffer greatly before executing them or just leaving them to die. The mom in 2 got the most merciful death of any of his victims even though he blew her head off.
Yea Art gets off on torturing and killing, he loves that ish, thats what makes me love him, none of that weak quick cut away stuff, Art goes all in and just fucks up his prey.
the fact that the most intense part of the movie besides the ending was the first 5-10 min was great
yeah. set the tone with the first kill. still makes me shudder
@@melvosyti was really hoping that the family would live but of course art doesn’t spare anyone or anything
@@paakwatch1507poor mom she had to see her child dismembered body😢
It’s cool that they’re getting better as they make the sequels. Reminds of 80s horror it’s dope.
Sienna hive STAND UP!! I can’t think of a time I wanted a protagonist to kick evil’s ass more than the last 30 minutes of this film.
For some reason, him smashing her hands was too far for me and instantly made me want to shout at the screen for her to kill him.
She was kicking his ass too
Sienna has literally topped Sidney Prescott as my favorite final girl of all time! ❤❤
Man Im rooting for Art all the way.
@@kingrook45get out
Having pain receptors is the worst trait in the Terrifier universe
I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about how uncomfortable it was to watch Victoria pleasure herself with a piece of glass while Art kills someone, that part was wild 😂
That scene got me. Was so uncomfortable. I was like that is just wrong
I swear besides da cheeks scene DAT GOT ME!!
I thought it was funny 😂
Fr victoria made this movie 2 times more discusting. I love her
That was gross the rest was brilliant
Can we talk about how Sienna Resident Evil 4 parried a chainsaw with her shortsword?
I had such a blast in the theater and loved the audience reactions. This movie is Art at both his funniest and scariest.
Hard agree
Man the audience was so hyped that shit was lit.
2 is still my favourite. Atleast for now. I need to see 3 a couple more times before I can say that definitively. I had been awake for almost 20 hours while watching it (after sleeping for like 3) and the theatre was packed. Definitely impacted my experience.
I watched 2 last night before going to 3 today, i think im gonna take 3 tbh, it’s close but they’re both great
@@Bill_198 Dayum.
I prefer 2 also
Yup 2 was better storywise. 3 had the better kills.
@@mikey2555its the opposite for me
David Howard Thornton deserves an Oscar from this performance
I 100% agree with you
An oscar just for smiling?
If you think all he did was smile you weren't paying attention
@@Jagm177-f9oGwyneth Paltrow got the Oscar for just standing there and saying her lines once. In a just world, he deserves at least a nomination 😂
Lavera does, too.
I absolutely can't wait for Terrifier 4
Same, will see everyone in the cinema now
@@ConnorStierman nobody can 👀
Terrifier 3 felt like one half of a film setting up Terrifier 4 because of the Cliffhanger and Art getting away
Heck Yes I'm looking forward to Terrifier 4
I heard Terrifier 4 will likely conclude the story according to Damien Leone so Terrifier 4 The Final Chapter then 😁
I thought saw kills were gross and gorey turns out my stomach can’t even handle seeing any of Arts Kills 😭😭
I hope you do a full on spoiler discussion at some point for those of us who appreciate the idea behind these films, but can't actually stomach watching them.
I LOVE the Ice Nine Kills music video for the film, tool. They've been one of my favorite bands for like 12 years now so to see how much they've grown into the mainstream is awesome. It's so good.
And hearing it play in the background in the film was so cool!
I agree with everything you have stated. Especially about the scary aspect. The first two films never really scared me. I was grossed on and a bit creeped out by Art but never truly scared. That all change during the opening and I felt my heart rate go up and up. Never thought this franchise would ever truly get under my skin and scare me.
This movie exceeded my expecations and easily the best one yet! I've already seen it twice and will see it many more times! I'm so happy!!!
SAW fans are complaining about the violence? Goddamn, it might make me prolapse in disgust then. I'll have to vicariously live these flicks through channels like this.
I know. Its a very tame movie, Terrifier 3 is. Hardly any blood in it.
To be fair, Saw fans complained about the violence in the actual Saw films too once they finally got rid of the psychological elements and dove headfirst into torture porn territory.
I'm a Saw fan and I'm not complaining 😅
@@mrmhj9925what movie did you watch 😭😭😭 it was a complete bloodbath
I think Saw fans are mad another franchise stole their thunder lol
I saw the movie last night and I’m still processing it.
I can tell you haven't watched the movie A Serbian Film. That one leaves you broken inside after you watch it.
This film is like slayer’s reign in blood. An absolute masterpiece for indie horror
Went to see Terrifier 3 last night and this was my first Terrifier theatre experience and my god did it live up to the hype. The crowd was amazing and honestly made the film even more fun!
Totally agree with everything you said in this film and I think I mentioned this in a previous comment but you have officially claimed top spot as my fav horror TH-camr! So much quality content here I get so excited when I see a notification that you’ve dropped a video!
Can’t wait for the next one!
2024 is one of the best years for horror in a very long time imo.
Absolutely! For movies and games, been eating up the Silent Hill 2 Remake.
Fully agree with you
The otger night I watched V/H/S/Beyond, and now this, oh what a treat this week has been...Tis the season to be merry!!!
Im so glad to hear the movie is good. So many movie franchises with endless potential almost always fumble the bag and im glad it didn't happen.
I gotta love that people can watch the same film and have such different reactions to it. Personally it wasn't my taste in horror and is the first one I have fully seen. Although cinematography and colour grading and just how funny the film is really kept me sitting though the hard parts
So you couldn't do the spoilery one but you point us to a podcast where we can get. You are so amazing ❤
This movie was insane I loved the first and second but they definitely went all out for this one they actually went abit further than I expected haha the practicle effects are insane and the acting is great have a very merry Christmas everyone❤
I also think we should take a second to say that your videos are so well done! Thanks for such giving your full effort! Awesome content. (I am terrified of Art but LOVE the job his actor does- what a phenomenal job well done!)
I hope they lead more into the fantastical and supernatural elements in the 4th film because that’s my favourite part of the franchise. I need that next chapter ASAP!
I absolutely loved it I wasn’t a huge fan of the first one but I loved art seeing this franchise grow and hit mainstream status is one of the most surreal things I’ve witnessed
I’m a HUGE movie enthusiast/lover especially horror movies, aspiring business owner and actress. I’ve already watched 43 new movie releases in the movie theater this year including Terrifer 3 which was one of my most highly anticipated movies of the year. WOW the movie was such a thrill!!!! Art the Clown is back and better than ever! It was great to see Sienna, Victoria and Johnathon again as well. I throughly enjoyed Terrifer 3. It’s now in my top five favorite movies of 2024 thus far along with Dune 2, Alien: Romulus, Blink Twice and Speak No Evil remake. ❤❤❤❤
Wishing you the best of luck with your ambitions.
@@DaveSmith-is6dc Thank you so much!
I went and saw it Friday, Definitely on my list of movies to buy. I have terrifier 2 already on vudu
I watched the first one a few years ago and didn't care for it, and you convinced me to give it another shot for the second one, and now I love this series
The abundance of questions without answers is giving this series a "Phantasm" feel.
Lovin' it. There's nothing worse than answering all the questions. They only become rules that you eventually have to break in order to bring back the killer for another sequel.
Plus there's no more fan theories
I would like to compare Terrifier 3 to IT 2017 for a moment, as someone who watched and thoroughly enjoyed both of these films where an evil clown commits unspeakable atrocities against children for shits and giggles. My main issue with IT was the fact that it started out so strong, but never did anything to top Georgie's disturbing death, despite Pennywise killing plenty more people than just him. I suspect some level of studio intervention was behind that. So I went into Terrifier 3 hoping for that same level of intensity, and... holy shit. Holy fuck. The movie doesn't just top its own opening sequence, it actively rubs the resulting entrails in our collective faces, then points and laughs at us. Bra-fucking-vo, team. I'm still recovering from that shit, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Not even comparable but ok. Pennywise is not a slasher
I absolutely agree with you it's the best one yet in the series and as you began your video with Rockin, as a horror fan what a time to be alive!!!
this movie was actually all i wanted out of it. so happy with the outcome.
So happy for the director, cast and the rest of the team that worked on this film. Y’all deserved this! ❤
I love watching you’re videos and watching you grow! Keep going. Your takes on some of my favorite movies are so well thought out and articulated.
Didn’t watch the first two but MANNNNNN number three was perfect every part of the movie was great even the plot, art has diff earn his spot with Freddy & them
Spoilers ...
I don't think johnathan died,, but i wanted more of him in this one..
The Haunting of HIll house and Ringu are usually my style of horror but this movie was entertaining, it may have been the substances it may have been the friends but it was a hell of a watch with others
5, maybe 6 total Terrifier films would be a good way to do it and it needs Infinity War Stakes but continue with Sienna's, Victoria and Arts lore.
Saw it Thursday night, Friday night, AND tonight. I’m so happy this movie is killing it in box office. Anyone who wants to see more movies like this in theaters, I highly recommend seeing more than once. Box office speaks volumes. SPOILERS BELOW…
Only thing I wasn’t huge on in the movie was how they killed the brother and uncle off screen. It’s a movie you wouldn’t expect anything to be done off screen. Otherwise no complains, amazing fucking movie. Overall 8.5-10 imo. That bathroom scene, chefs kiss. Perfection
agreed about Jonathan, very big character and didn’t even show it, still a phenomenal movie
I give the movie 4/5. Almost everything was great. Jonathans actor is worse than he was in T2 though. You gave him props but I don't understand why lol I was hoping his acting would get better this time around but its not. I can see why he had a lesser role this time around. If he is gonna be in T4, hopefully he steps his game up and give it his all next time like Siennas actress.
Yeah, he was pretty bad in this movie unfortunately. Him sounding like 10 year old didn’t help & throwing his little tantrum in the room was ridiculous. Our whole theater was laughing. Loved everything else though.
He dead
I was dying laughing during the scene in the bar where Art was “marking out” for “Santa”!!
Cant we all agree that song when art gets to the party absolutely slaps 🔥🔥🔥
I’m ngl I think the hate for this franchise on Twitter is the most unwarranted and overblown, love these movies
I personally felt 2 was the best. This one was missing the action and intensity 2 had, and had a lot of off screen deaths. Art blowing up the kids felt too quick compared to what he does with everyone else. Also the cliffhanger felt like a huge blue ball.
Yeah I feel Terrifier 3 had alot of scenes missing and should have been the longer of the two sequels imo
Well im not exactly sure they are allowed to show the full brutal slaughter of children. I think it had to be off screen for it to not risk being completely taken out of cinemas
Absolutely heartbreaking that I did not get a “my name is Evan, and welcome…to rocklin graves”
The Christmas setting did not work for me at all. Can’t hold a candle to part 2. But still glad to see independent horror doing well!
12:40 ish - I think it's because he clearly gets some of his ideas from serial killers IRL, and they are overwhelmingly murderers of women. But people making the misogyny accusation should realize that that's a horror trope in general. Women tend to be more a target, and that's why the Final Girl trope exists too. We watch these killers go after people who are weaker than them, smaller than them in the case of women, and then we see them get their just desserts by the Final Girl (in most cases these days, anyway, even if it comes in later installments), and we go YES GOOD GET HIM GIRL. That's the point!!
Idk sienna has gotta be the most badass final girls since Sydney Prescott not only that but the main kill was done to a guy I feel it kinda unfair to call the film misogynistic because of gender ratio alone. Despite that in general horror does have an underlying trope with women and I think that’ll go away with time especially with more final girls like sienna showing off that gender has nothing to do with capability
Great review, well thought out and actually addresses the formal components that others are overlooking - subscribing.
Sienna is now my all time favorite final girl, and lauren lavera is one of the best actresses in horror.
The first 2 movies were set at halloween. This one is set at christmas. So when the Podcaster Mia said "We're coming up on the 5 year anniversary..." I wanted to punch the movie screen. How did nobody on the production catch this?
I absolutely loved this movie. Great video man! I always love watching them.
I don’t even like horror movies but I can’t stop watching these reviews
Seeing this at 11 tonight - can’t wait.
Also - I definitely 2nd considering supporting the patreon, this content is some of the best online, Evan seems great, and the extras are certainly worth the $5/month.
Watched the first 2 for the first time this week. And watched the 3rd on Friday loved it.
While I appreciate the passion fans have for this franchise, I’m really getting tired of people, especially men, just immediately dismissing the critiques of the films being misogynistic. I’m a female horror fan, I know the complicated history of horror and female characters, but it’s really disheartening to see women in the horror community vocalizing their thoughts only to be dismissed. I also know there’s female fans of this franchise, and I’m genuinely happy for them! But Sienna being a great character and the first two films brutalizing and killing the female characters in much more graphic and extended ways than the male ones are two statements that can and should coexist. I’m not saying Leone or anyone involved is a terrible person or anything, just that these critiques aren’t out of left field. I’m genuinely glad this is doing well at the box office! I just wish there was more room for nuance when it comes to this discussion. Thanks for another great video, and I do appreciate the passion you and others have for these films and horror!
I think this 3rd film absolutely equaled out male vs female violence
... he shoved a chainsaw up a guy's ass...
THANK YOU! That's exactly what I was thinking. I completely agree with everything you said.
My friend was telling me the other day that it almost feels like they take inspiration from actual hate crimes against women and femicides to kill the female characters in these films.
One of the most blatant examples is the acid one... which is a very well-known type of assault against women; also the fact that he chops off two different women's breasts, carves misogynistic words on her body, and makes one woman write those words on walls. It really feels like they want to emphasise the fact that they're women being brutalised.
Not to mention most of the men that die at his hands (which aren't as many) are killed because they're in his way or they make him angry somehow... but the women are literally just existing.
And yes, I don't think anyone involved is sexist necessarily (I don't know them after all), but I agree that there should be more nuanced discussions about this.
From what I've seen, the third film improved in this aspect and I'm glad about that. And I'm also happy that Sienna is a well-written female character, but like you said, both things can be true.
I don't hate the franchise and I don't believe the fans of it are bad people, but I truly wish people wouldn't ignore those critiques as well.
@@user-iu2zr8vj7g
That and the fact Sienna never gets a romance subplot is another thing that goes unnoticed.

Saw it on Friday as well. Loved it
I still think the 2nd was better
I think the pacing was way better in this movie compared to the previous one. In Terrifier 2, there were parts that really dragged and had me looking at my watch to see how much more run time was left. Terrifier 3 was over before I even thought about looking at the time.
Just saw it last night, kept getting looks every time I laughed at a scene? 😂
that's a sign that your nervous or disturbed by the scene
Omg it was the funniest one yet, luckily the times I laughed were usually drowned out by chainsaw buzz
Oh I chuckled plenty of times!
I was laughing the whole time. So were many in the theater. It was hilarious.
@@lee6023maybe it was legitimately funny. Ever think of that?
About time, Art the Clown is such a great character
I was just talking with someone how it's number one. I knew it would chart but I didn't anticipate no. 1. I think when terrifier went free on tubi a few years ago it catapulted the franchise to beyond. It just never crossed my mind this once little indie film would get there. But that's so great for this era in horror.
I saw this opening night
It got a standing ovation and the whole theater was clapping
I couldn't believe it
I get giddy when I see stuff like this but to see the whole damn theater agree with me? That was awesome
That being said 2 groups of people left after the bar scene and there was puke in the women's sink
So I def think not everyone loved the film but I LOVED IT
This is my fave of the three followed by the first. So much fun and I love that after three Halloween movies they gave us a christmas horror this time.
i loved it so much the only thing i didnt care for was the music wasnt quiet as good imo as it was in 2, i love how the shower part was gorier then the entire TMC franchise lol
There’s no way people that hate on this series or character have seen the second one. It’s a fantastic horror movie in general. I’m glad to hear that 3 holds up 👍🏻
Its cool to have a new slasher and not a remake or rehash. That's actually good.
A lot of people said the violence was a but much in this one, what I found interesting was that the level was similar to that of old-school splatter films, namely Peter Jackson, and troma films! (Poultrygeist, bad taste, tromeo and juliet, bad taste, dead alive)
I wonder if certain people are effected by the quick edits and the sound design and all that. Not just the gore itself.
Thank you Shane Gillis! I can’t wait to watch this movie :)
I always love your Terrifier videos!
Art Stole Christmas and Our Hearts! What an experience this weekend has been. Loved chatting with you as always my dude! Cant wait to post the review!
I love your backdrop. Also haven’t seen any of the Terrifier movies yet but interested after watching this
regardless of how i feel about this guy's takes going forward, (i like this video and agree with most sentiments, but that's neither here nor there), this is the guy that introduced me to Lake Mungo, which is fantastic. I've been striving to watch a horror movie every day this year in October, ideally ones I haven't seen before, and so far the standout has been Lake Mungo, which (recency bias may be at play here as well) is probably in my top 20 favorite films ever.
If you have not seen Lake Mungo, I highly recommend it.
I was laughing through the entire movie. It was great!
Thankyou for your efforts man nice work! I can't wait to see this in the cinema in New Zealand.
I’m seeing this tonight. I love Art the Clown. I love his sense of humor.
Hope you enjoy it!
I saw it tonight. it's amazing
Saw it yesterday. Loved it!
I think that we’re going to see a crucifixion scene of some kind in a future Terrifier movie. This is because there are so many religious themes, the statue of the Virgin Mary in Hell that we see while the demon is forging (supposedly forging) Sienna’s armor, her crown of thorns like how Jesus had, that she’s been chosen, etc. I think that Sienna is going to be crucified in one of the future movies or someone will. Maybe all of Art’s victims will be crucified in Hell and Sienna will sacrifice herself to save all of his dead victims bringing them back to life.
Not butt punching , too soon 😅
Edit: the theatre was absolutely packed where I was as well and the energy was amazing 👌
After watching the first terrifier, im hooked. So hyped to watch 2 and 3!

I think he's spot on. I hate torture porn, and this movie hasn't changed that. But I can't imagine listening to Leone and Thornton talk and not thinking "I want more creators like that". Leone especially has a vision, he's incredibly talented, his passionate about the project and its source material, and he seems to great work out of the people he works with. I will never watch another Terrifier movie after the first one, but I hope people take the right notes out of this franchise.
You nailed it with Jonathan. That’s my biggest issue but i fully expect his story arc continues in part4.
If it doesn’t then Damien really messed this character up. But i have faith we haven’t seen the last of him
I am really hoping that even though they said it was her brother, I’m hoping he’s still alive
I finally watched the movie and now I can watch this !!!!
It was nice to see an homage to "Pieces". You should review that one!
They also paid homage to psycho ( when art kills Cole and his podcast girlfriend in the shower and Black Christmas)
Evan, i saw The Cursed. Wow! Great movie. I loved it. Have it for the weekend. Ill watch it again. Oh, well, you know i'll go nowhere near Terrifiyer.
Glad you liked it! That's a cool movie
The only problem I have with 3 that will keep it from being as good as 1 and 2 are that it seems like when Art starts to really give his victims the business, the audience is distracted with a bucket of blood and rapid fire camera cuts. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't recall the previous two movies doing that. It just doesn't allow the viewer time to let what they are watching sink in.
Friday the 13th had so much gore censored!! They put so much effort into engineering these practical effects and so many never saw the light of day! Im glad that we're now in an era where we're eatin good. Also definitely the acting improved sm, so glad that with more help hes now able to shine in his directing and the actors in their acting
I really cant get into these movies, yet i have watched all your videos on them.
