The atmosphere created with the guitar griding and the layer of bass along with that sax is mesmerizing. Krule blows em all away. Real passion in those melodies and soundscapes.

in fact, ambitous lovers is arto's second band after DNA, an hell yeah dude lounge lizards are one of my favorite groups ever, check out marvin pontiac aka john lurie, the lounge lizards band leader, great music mate. indeed, archy's lyrics are just at point with his musical genius. i don't think that there is someone else writing musical lyrics like him in these days, neither back in the day, maybe jazz singers, or fela kuti is almost the nearest to that style. there are lots of hispanoamerican new wave/post punk groups with really great lyrics like Los Tres, Soda Stereo, Pescado Rabioso, etc but perhaps u can't understand that language. u need to go deeper in music, Abner Jay, Thomas A. Dorsey, etc and all funk groups make good lyrics, like Kurtis Blow and Grandmaster Flash, dig this shit man, good luck peace, greetings from Mexico.
