    Rarely seen such an informative video about mice. Especially the comparisons of the click sounds are helpful. The video has helped me a lot to make a decision!

    • @BreakdancePeach
      @BreakdancePeach ปีที่แล้ว

      I hope that decision was not buying this mouse. It's pretty poorly designed and not built to last you. I've gone through a couple warranty replacements. They always break in the same way - mouse wheel first, in around a month every time.
      Granted, I'm a power user that uses it for hours a day, but even then it probably wouldn't last you a year. Bad part about most reviews in general, is they don't use the product for a long time to realize how bad it is.

    I bought one after watching this (excellent) review. Such an amazing mouse - at least once the firmware is updated to the latest version. I don't understand why it isn't more popular - the onboard storage and support for three devices on Bluetooth alone make it literally a better MX Master 3 that you can also use for gaming. A real shame this mouse seems to have been a commercial failure for Asus given its incredibly useful and well thought out features. I hope other manufacturers start incorporating this functionality into their gaming mice - a lot of wireless keyboards have had it for years.

    • @Mithadon
      @Mithadon 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      agreed, I have an MX Master but the low polling rate which it shares with seemingly every other non-gaming mouse is really irritating. even for productivity tasks or general browsing on a high refresh rate monitor the smoothness of moving Windows etc all depends on the mouse polling rates so it baffles me that so-called work mice still don't offer high polling.
      and on the other side I can't believe how hard it is to find a gaming mouse that has multiple bluetooth pairing. strongly considering this Gladius for a combination of those two things

    • @alsozoidberg
      @alsozoidberg 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mithadon I also own an MX Master 3 which I used grudgingly until I stumbled upon this one by accident - it now lives at work. The MXM3 is useful but its design flaws - polling rate as you say, low DPI, lack of onboard memory forcing you to keep the software installed (if it's even available on your device), not to mention the polarising scroll wheel - make it deeply frustrating to use, and wholly unfit for gaming. Beggars belief that it's never had any real competition - hopefully that is changing. Be interested to know how you go with it if you end up picking one up! I have been very happy with mine.

      It's not popular because it's way overpriced for what it is. The Razer Viper Ultimate is cheaper, has better optical switches, has a better sensor and even comes with a charger dock so you don't have to plug in the mouse ever. Or even though the G Pro Superlight doesn't come with a dock like the Viper, it's pretty much better in every way to the Gladius 3 minus the rgb - you could choose the G Pro Wireless then (also both Logitech and Razer has their unique wireless connection which offers better response time and latency than Asus)
      Maybe if it was half the price then it would be worth it, but as Asus being mainstream nowadays all of their products are overpriced. And yes i'm currently writing this on a Gladius 2 and a Rog Claymore overprice king.
      The only reason i can think of for buying this is the easily replaceable switches - which i needed on the Gladius 2 since the default right switch died in less then a year......

    • @SweatyFeetGirl
      @SweatyFeetGirl 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kerotomas1 not even pro gamers will notice the "better sensor", and the selling point of the rog gladius III is that you can literally change to ANY switch you like. heck you can even put in a razer switch if you buy some online

  • @dooms8870
    @dooms8870 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    These replacable switches are the selling point for me, i have gone through Razer deathadders, Orochi, Naga, Naga Hex, Logitec 502 all with double clicking issue, i dunno if its me clicking too hard or not but the Gladius 3 seems it is build to last longer, im gonna buy this and see.

    • @ZachalZockt
      @ZachalZockt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      exactly ! that was my point to! after 2 dead Logitech g502 hero, because of the leftclick problem, i bought an Asus ROG Keris Wireless. Super light and the same features.
      + you get 4 silicon pads and 2 omron switches to

    • @Mithadon
      @Mithadon 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah I've had the double clicking issues a few too many times on my Logitech mice... and the most recent 502 model mouse wheel got all oxidized too . I'm just so used to that shape though, I think it was the G7 which was the wired mouse with the same shape back in the 2000s and I always just kept buying the next iteration. it's probably time to try something new

    Thanks alot for this nice review. As far as i know only Asus made mices with removable switches? My Wired Gladius 3 comes today. I'm so excited. Actually using the Logitech G502 Hero. It's nice but i have the doubleclick issue on the right mainbutton since a few days and this sucks. The G502 Hero is now 12 Month old.

      @@ading4510 after using my gladius3 now for over 5 months i'm still very happy with this mouse. She works absolutly fine in every condition. I use the mouse daily many hours per day to work with her and play. The games i played intensively the last 5 months: "World of Tanks, World of Warships, World of Warcraft, Snowrunner + my old Diablo2" I never want another mouse anymore except a new Gladius. I'm still using the "normal" switches and haven't changed to the optical switches. This is one of the best mices i ever used since 1993. (and i still love my old G5 but this one is better)

    Hi, I just pre-order Claymore II and Gladius III, in my country these two comes in pre-order bundle. Since they have same USB RF 2.4ghz receiver dongle, so my question is : will it cause signal interference when I plug both dongle into same PC? Or one dongle will do the job?
