Imagine being injured for almost 3 years on and off and being away from the battle scene for as long as he is (with like two exceptions or so) just to return like this...this is what true skill and passion looks like. I love you Kevin, you are truly an inspiration and i hope this is just the start. The battle scene is much better with you than without.

This complexity of musicality and energy changes along with super naturally concept changes - again straight to the music, from power beat hit going down to smooth floorwork catching the synths,
It’s almost the only round that got me feeling like it’s IMPOSSIBLE to understand it with my body no matter how many years I would dance

Lot of people in the crowd only react to big moves this year I notice. I see a lot of subtle musicality go unnoticed in a lot of battles smh.
That is the issue! Man im glad somebody else notices that! Thats why so many people sleep on kefton and greenteck for example... Lots of names more... Maybe batalla and alex the cage too
I think that's an issue with new age dance crowds these days. The crowd may not be well versed im dance so they only see and hear the obvious and big movements/sounds instead of subtlety and mastery. Unfortunately, the crowd plays a HUUUGE factor in decisions.
Idk if its just about untrained eyes tho because we have judge battles like Paradox vs Rochka where Rochka wins using all big moves even though Paradox has all the musicality. But these are top tier hip hop dancers judging them. Beatkills are just overhyped.
So glad to see Paradox back after the injury, stronger than ever.
P.S. This guy is a freestyle genius, so creative, so expressive. Never disappoints!
I don’t know who’s a more encouraging person to battle against: Paradox or Bou Mijo. Both of them stay hyping up their opponents

Paradox is a baaaaaaaaad man for real. He's one of my favorites for real. Gonzy seemed like he didn't take it the battle seriously outside of his power move(s).

Ofc he took it serious. his style is enough to win vs. most dancers. But not to win vs. paradox. It's just level difference. Gonzy would need a set of his life to challenge paradox's average set.

Paradox dances so good that other dancers don't know how to begin their set. The whole time it looks like they're thinking "what am I doing? why am I dancing like this? where'd he get these moves from?" LOL Gonzy did good though. But Para? Just another level fam...

I do think Gonzy had better beatkills but there's more to dance than that.
Beatkills are worthless if your set is empty and you just wait for the beat to change so you can do your ''big move''. Paradox weaved in beatkills perfectly into his sets.

he was flustered and unprepared for what Kevin Paradox laid down in front of him. you can see the way Gonzy tries to discredit and deny Paradox's skills out of insecurity and how long it takes Gonzy to compose himself when he starts his round. i'd say he had a couple good moments and struggled to dance consistently.
