I was a hardcore raver in Scotland from 91/94 and the legend that was DJ Tom Wilson was a huge part of the whole rave scene up here with his radio shows..... respect is due to the man the legend DJ TOM WILSON👏🏻🙌🏻✊🏻

Tom wilson was the best when I started driving in 1992 at 17 and his music made my right foot hit the floor got a couple of speeding tickets but didn't care great music and a fast car go together thanks for the memories Tom you're sadly missed❤️🙏😭

What can you say? Firstly an absolute gentleman. His passion for the dance music scene was unrivalled and he knew what the public wanted and delivered big time. He was also a massive Hearts man and was always proud to show it. Uncle Tom will never be forgotten in the dance scene or at Tynecastle.

All the mentions for different posses and mates he made he spoke as if he knew all these people! He was never sad, everything he said was happy and upbeat and this tune sums him up. There should be a Tom Wilson award for positive thinking, being upbeat and overcoming difficulty. Im going to put him on a t-shirt. Tom, TTF and the Shamen showed us the way to live!!!!

I used to wait religiously for every Tom Wilson's bonus beats, play and record buttons down with finger on pause , for making your own mix tapes, best time of my life, no worries and no internet or mobiles, just pure innocent fun. Still gutted he was taken early :(

Tom played to us at our local small hotel in Anstruther, East neuk of Fife . The Craw's nest hotel. I Imagine it would have something to do with Edith Bowman radio 1 as her mum was part owner of the hotel. What a night it was, absolutely stompin. a night to remember. He took a bit long to start that night and a friend edd black who was starting for him had to play longer. Unfortunately Tom was feeling unwell and next day he passed away. Privileged to be one of last to bounce with him that night !!!! r.i.p

great tribute .. our first ever land base pirate radio in scotland played all those tunes plus i gave tom a cd full of old skool mp3's songs he didnt have . i asked for a copy of technokath before it hit the shops , he actually signed it too .. miss his shows on the radio 💖

1995 was the year of big tune breakdowns and buildups and this guy's - tom wilson techno cat- dance like ya dad -remix was the tune of the year in ku club in ibiza...12000 people absolutely lost it... when this tune kicked off!!! Iv also smashed peoples heads clean off with this tune many times. I was first to play this track in my area.

Yes sadly he died 25 March 2004 of a heart attack. When I managed to find his favorites on the net and it brought it all back.
i remeber Tom when he played at Diesels in Hawick in 1999 i bought him a red bull and in return he promised to play Technocat for me and he did, cheers Tom, RIP mate

Saw Tom at the Judgement Day in Newcastle in 98 for the first time but I was so fucked up it was all a blur.... But in 99 went up to a night in a little club in Edinburgh called Twisted and he fucking blew my mind man.... Respect and rest in Power... and respect to the madman too
