This made me realize just how quickly 2023 went by. I feel I just added The Bound and the Broken to my TBR a month ago not MONTHS ago. This also shows me how much of an influence you are to my TBR. A good influence tho 😂
We are but tears in the rain....but seriously, I think about how I can usually only do 1 or 2 series tops a year. This year I'm doing Red Rising and the Asian Saga......that will probably be 2024 and then 2025 will be the Dandelion Dynasty.....tears in the rain.....
Just waiting here in the comments for the haters saying this video took no work since it’s all recycled from throughout the year, knowing that this is the most editing you’ve probably ever done for a video 😂 love it Mike, you’re constantly adding to my TBR
Just started “We are the Dead”, based on your recommendation and you weren’t wrong dark but yet very engaging.. thank you.. just found your channel and I I have also read the Red Rising saga and absolutely loved it…
wow, there is not single book on that list that i don't want to read - they are all up on my tbr, as of this moment! thanks mike! you are ruining my life, but thank you so much :D
Lonesome Dove is one of those books that just sticks with you and you're just hopelessly searching for the next one that will connect so closely as LD did. I'm not really into scifi or fantasy, although I'm trying now, historical fiction and fiction is right up my alley. Everything from John Jakes, to the great Sir Ken Follett (don't really think he's been knighted irl), and of course the great great Larry McMurtry. Though I've only ever completed LD, his other books didn't quite do it for me.
This video just made me think I should probably move Mike Shackle’s ‘The Last War’ up my tbr list. Also that I can’t wait to continue with the Red Rising saga. Just picked up Iron Gold!
Thank you for introducing me to Robert McCammon, Mike. Such a brilliant writer! By the way, I would love to see a Top Ten Sci-fi Books from you. I hope you'll consider making one.
If I love medieval fantasy with a lot of books and large page counts like ASOIAF, WOT, Malazan, Stormlight, Mistborn, etc should I give Hobb a try would it be up my alley?

It really zipped by.

Eh, no one is making anyone click on these shorter vids.

I’m on the third book of Mike Shackle’s We Are the Dead series. A LOT of action in the third volume!!!!
I like what you did with this video combined all the BOTM videos into one ! 👍

Love that you put them all together in one video ❤

Happy reading to you!! 🎉
Im almost halfway through Light Bringer currently.
I read We Are The Dead because of your endorsement and it was superb, loved it. 10/10 🙌
I really need to step up my reading game. So many "want to reads" on here that never seem to make it to the top of my TBR list.
Ever read any James Michener?
