I'm opposed to the US Gov't sending money over there. In fact, let's make it universal. Let's stop our sending money to anyone over there, no matter what the purpose is or which side they're on. Our money needs to stay here in this country. The students are not in charge and they also have no bargaining power. The protest also makes no sense, if they want Columbia to simply get rid of Amazon, Google and Microsoft stock. One thing that ABC is omitting; those students that are protesting, is that they make up a large portion of the student body. If they switch to other colleges, that college will need to start another enrollment campaign. Students keep that college existing.

Anyone who actually cares about the Palestinians would not be asking Israel for a ceasefire, but for Hamas to surrender; this war can be ended at any time, if Hamas releases the hostages and surrenders, so if you care about the Palestinian people, protest Hamas--not Israel.
Palestinians have been killed for years. He says that even if Israel takes back the captives, the ceasefire will not be permanent. Of the 40,000 Palestinians killed, more than 30,000 were civilians, the majority of whom were children and women. I know that the dead Palestinians or the Palestinian people have no value in your eyes. You even forgot that they are human. They are now just numbers showing the death toll.

Second of all, students with legal history (most likely felony) are not entitled to Government Grant. so, I agree with you that we should not take grand for allegation, but after conviction. Third of all, there is no constitutional obligation for government to provide student Aid. but it is of course nice. I benefited from it too.
Cease funding for colleges and universities. Every student with a visa who is involved in this should have their visas canceled.

Being able to come to this country and study, EVEN IF COLLEGES DID NOT TAKE FEDERAL FUNDING, is a privilege and not a right if you are disruptive and a threat to society, whether a citizen or not, you forgo those rights.

When I was in college I was too busy to protest. I'm confused on how their protests even matter.
These students have moral values and compassion. They deserve respect for their courage too.
However, they do not know the history of the Middle East. The Jews do have a legitimate claim to their land. Great Britain rewarded the Jews after WW11 giving them the land because they fought with the British. Whereas, the Palestinians fought against the British in WW11.
Going back farther in the early history of the Holy Land, the Jews established themselves there well before the birth of Christ.
