Using the RNAV for Direct VOR Navigation

A straightforward tutorial on flying using the RNAV to fly a direct route, without a VOR along the path, in the Blacksquare Analog Caravan. Other analog conversion planes have this same RNAV also.
The intent is to learn the basics of using an RNAV, like in the pre-GPS days.

Great video. I was just going through this same exercise today using the Black Square Analog King Air, and for the life of me could not figure out what the plane was doing when i switched autopilot to NAV mode. Now I know, just have to hold the needle and fly HDG mode. Too bad that can't be fixed in the sim. Thanks for the info!

Thank you, one cannot use the autopilot NAV with RNAV KNS80; for whatever reason.
