My belief is, after the events of Four-Way Fracture, Xenophanes was 'killed', freeing Classic Sonic, but.....Eggman was the only one not freed by Majin, and he spreads the infection to Shadow soon after Four-Way Fracture. Then, they seek out Modern Sonic to revive their master, Xenophanes. Plus, the incarnation most affiliated with Fleetway.....is Classic Sonic. Henceforth, in this video, I believe Xenophanes is Modern Sonic. And the final Xenophanes part also takes place in Modern Sonic's infected mind, henceforth why Xeno fades away at the end.
