Ukulele: Hey guys! Sorry I’m late! Piano: Oh, it’s okay. Guitars! Your little sibling is here! Ukulele: For the last time, *IM NOT A MINI GUITAR!* Drums: Sounds like someone has a short fuse
As a violinist, I loved this; organizing them into orchestral sections, and the slightly punny comments throughout it. . . . Did not disappoint! Great job, FJ! ~ Ana
I played upright bass for a large portion of my childhood and let me just say that it is really fun to be able to be a part of two different music groups (classical and jazz respectively).
"I'm sorry, guys. My reed is being very finicky. I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to play." I laughed because it's so true. I think that every time I put my oboe together.
There needs to be a part 2 but this time featuring the bassoon, French horn, saxophones, euphoniums/baritones, and every other orchestra instrument that wasn't included
As a French Hornist, I kept waiting for the horn to show up. When you said horns and showed the tuba though I laughed so hard. People always think we're tubas for some reason 😂 this sketch was on point as usual, even if the tuba/horn thing was unintentional
🤣Why does this actually feel like a music class that is even more chaotic than usual? I think the Bongos had to be my favorite character! Very fun skit!
Hot Cross Buns! 🤣I love this!! I've been hoping you would do something like this! The Spanish guitar was hilarious, and poor cowbell haha...you even got the piccolo in there! Everybody! A one, two, three...Thanks, Frank! The ladies will love it! 🙌😂
@@StephanieJeanne lol French horns are pretty compact - it's tubas and sousaphones that are huge, but pretty sure I spotted a brief tuba appearance doing an 'oomp-a' lol
Dude flutes are definitely overlooked in my school! I was primarily a flutist in my band and in the marching band, and I cannot say how much my band director HATED the flutes. It's because we're always in the front, and there were so many of us that it was kind of unnecessary. And I think he'd emphasize how we weren't taught right cause we expend too much air and play too loudly from that (which was true). And I mean, we had this super arrogant flutist who always wanted 1st Flute (usually the ones with solos and higher notes), so my band director probably was annoyed by him as he sat in the first seat right next to him always asking questions. And tbh I think also why he hated the flutes was because during flute lessons, he's struggling to actually teach us because he doesn't play so well on it, since he plays the saxophone and clarinet, or reed instruments Luckily, I think he kind of favored me cause I was just really quiet in general, and also in playing.. cause I was nervous and shy. But I practiced for hours and took it seriously cause I wanted to improve myself. So I actually took his advice on how to conserve your air and control air speed, and etc. But then that meant he wanted me to play the solos, and I did, but bruh I have performance anxiety lol
Ideas for next “If ___ were people”: If kitchen utensils and/or appliances were people If each of the food groups (fruit, veg, meat, dairy, sugar, etc) were people If countries were people
Really amazing how accurate some of these are. Almost like Frank used to play in a high school band himself... Love the musical content like this. I really love the rivalry between piano and guitar, though I think there are quite a few pianists out there who don't follow the rest of the band/orchestra well either...
As a (somewhat) mad (cute) teacher who’s also a piano player I‘ve always been into the acoustic guitar player… The voices of Oboe and Clarinet were perfect!
As a flute player, I have heard my band director tell the trumpets many times to be quieter so he could hear the flutes 😂 One of the funniest skits I've seen in a while
😂 as a clarinetist I fully agreed with the "typical" response to the oboe. (Seriously, such a diva. 😒) So much truth on the trumpet railroading the flute. 😢❤ The piccolo believing he can get ladies... 🤦🏻♀️😂 Acoustic guitar only playing Wonderwall took me back to college days. 😂 Would love you to do more musical instruments as people sketches. You could introduce Eastern instruments or have them respond to a capella. ❤ your work, FJ! And keep up the puns (like the bagpipe one)-- always has me in stitches! 😆 Plus, references like SNL's cowbell. You just needed Walken. 😎
As a string player, I totally agree. In my opinion, violin is the youngest child because they are always front and center with the melody (and the attention 🙄), cello would be the oldest because they always hold it together and are the large support. And viola would probably be the underrated middle child because everyone unfortunately forgets about them
And French Horns would be the ones sitting quietly in the back but then pulling a mad improv solo/ harmony at the last minute while everyone is playing.
As a flute and piccolo player this was so accurate lol. The trumpet players at my school always steal my ideas. Also my band director's primary instrument is trumpet and he focuses way more on the brass instruments than the woodwinds, especially in marching band. Luckily I get to play picc in marching band this year! (I think my band director has something against picc in marching band. The last 3 shows we did didn't even have a picc part)

It's only been stuck in my head since you released it. haha
It was very good.

I love how the viola had no lines, and appeared once whilst looking around awkwardly. Perfect representation.
As a violist I can say that the viola acting was perfect
as a violist i can confirm that i do that
I can’t believe we even made the cast.
nah, in my orchestra, they say that the cellos and violins and double basses are in a war. what about ME. THE ONLY VIOLIST.
@@PXNDAMUSIC I agree fellow violist
As a trumpet, no we don’t only get our ideas from flutes. (We get them from clarinets as well)
Hi, clarinet here, yep, accurate lol
I'm a clarinet, and yes your kind totally steals my kinds ideas😂😂
As a clarinet, this is completely true
To be fair, if I can find trumpet music for something I look for a clarenet version
Yep we flutes and clarinets deserve some recognition can you make a part two and feature us some more 😢
Clarinet having Squidward's voice was a nice touch haha
Ohhhhh. Haha, thanks for pointing that out. That's clever
@@TheQwuilleran it really is!

Haha exactly 😂
I love how flawlessly Frank pulled off "Hot Cross Buns" all by himself, and of course Acoustic Guitar just HAD to throw Oasis in there!
"Wonderwall" mashes up with so many other songs!
This had me so laughing🤣
And it sounded just like an elementary school performance! 😂 This was my favorite skit by far.
To be fair, 'wonderwall' is a way better song.
😂
I love how the trombone only ever says "whomp, whomp..." when something funny happens
As a former trombonist it perfectly mimicked my personality when I was playing, only speaking to quietly make a short silly comment on someone’s folly
Trumpet being so loud nobody heard Flute is sooo accurate lol
😂
The saxophone is equally loud behind us flutes
@@Elli-Woffles fr tho 😢
My band was very inaccurate since we had like 7 flutes and 2 trumpets
The bongoes gave me some evil creepy twin vibes and I almost choked on my sandwich watching this, GREAT JOB FRANK 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
im pretty sure they’re a reference to the shining
As a clarinet player i appreciate that his only line was something i would actually say
As an oboe player, I feel attacked but also understand.
Typical
I’m also a clarinetist, so I can relate
Yep, also a clarinetist (and pianist!) I relate a lot
Underappreciated instrument ❤
As a violinist myself, this is insanely accurate. I can indeed confirm that string instruments are all one and the same.
No, you didn't say that ... Viola and the violin are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT INSTRUMENTS!!!!
Try telling that to unmusical people :(
Just don't tell Eddy and Brett the viola is the same as the violin! All hell will break loose! 🤣
as a violinist as well, i agree
As a cellist, I completely disagree. Maybe violins and violas tho

Thanks for giving us a private symphony, Frank! We should play "Don't Fear the Reaper", in honour of Cowbell. ❤️😁

I consider you lucky. Great choice. I really love the sound of upright bass, and bass.
That's the exact reason why I chose to take up bass. I wanted to be in both jazz band and orchestra. Plus the double bass is just awesome!
Is upright bass the same as double bass?
@@TheEpicNoob yeah, it has a lot of names: bass violin, string bass, contrabass, upright bass, double bass. They all mean the same thing.
electric bass also has more than one, being able to play jazz and all kinds of rock

Really, Piano leading the musical instruments was really a great idea.
As a trombone player, I can appreciate that he summed up the maturity level of the typical trombone section 😂
"I'm sorry, guys. My reed is being very finicky. I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to play." I laughed because it's so true. I think that every time I put my oboe together.
This is so accurate. If I ever sound off in my band/orchestra I just say my reed's not working.

As a pianist this is insanely accurate with all the instruments just doing their thing while we try to force something together 😅
Reminds me of my ISTJ friend trying all the group do the job we are supposed to do instead of juggling with nonsense. (INFP here)
The violin is savage. Probably why it's my favorite instrument.
The fact that there is no bassoon is very accurate to most bands 😂
