Miss Maven, regarding Auto Attack. You can go to Adventure Skills-> Auto Attack, and then uncheck. After this, you can now click any monsters in any distance without attacking them.

good information about "present", i thought you can present with just 1 and improve your chances til hearts turn gold. though interesting point if it takes 2 "presents" + 1 catch item to gold a heart, so technically you have 33.33333% chance of just throwing it into a lunatic. seems like chance decreases with more higher level creatures, ie. devo, with 1 contract is at 20% chance. looks like for broke people like me, might as well take my chances. lol.
Steps Simplyfied: 1. Present Taming item 2. Watch the hearts coming out of pets, if not all of them are Yellow, rinse and repeat steps 1-2. 3. If finally you see all Yellow hearts Catch That Pokemon! Note: Total number or taming needed per pet are in this video!

This video is great for knowing how much tames you should bring but to remove panic, the game indicates aswell when its safe. Keep giving them present until its no longer just the aura thats yellow, when you see ALL HEARTS become yellow then its 100% success rate.

A little heads up here! You have to gift the total amount of said Pet Item after that you have the 100% catch chance! Tried it out on Yoyo, she said to gift 3 Items then catch and it failed, tried it by gifting 4 Items and catched it. So the total amount is correct BUT you have to gift all. The first Item is only to start the catch/gifting menu and it counts as gift.

upon rewatching this video, u were lucky with ur isis since it didn't spawn gold hearts yet u still manage to catch it (maybe it already increases ur chance since u only have to gift 1 more to have 100%)
Aw then im a lucky player i tamed all the pets poring, lunatic, yoyo, savagebabe and wolfbaby using 1item each and also have another poring for cooking pet labor. Did not try catching isis, deviruchi and mandragora yet might be catching as well soon. I might try this to. Anyways nice video for those who are unfortunate for 1 catching only
Eto you can actually turn off your auto attack Maven-dono. By going to adventurer skills auto attack then uncheck the auto attack.

you can simply turn off the auto attack from the skill tab, press auto attack (on the skill tab) and uncheck the auto button
