Nice paint on those Space Marines. Enjoyed watching the orks get cleansed. Trying to get into 10th edition. The Ironstorm Spearhead looks like a good detachment for all those re-rolls. Thanks for sharing.
Ironstorm is great to start out aswell. The detachment rule is easy to remember and it's good for single model units (aka tanks lol) so you can play with smaller model count but everything can punch above its weight class. And the mercy is weakness strat is absolutely devastating 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Did you see John Lennon's Space Marine list he took to the championships? his list had heaps of jammy movement shenanigans, not my taste for Space Marines, i prefer them a bit bigger, tankier and packing more punch (go the Vindicator!), kinda like yourself and your list 👍

Tell you what i've been thinking the same for my primaris Deathwatch, Impulsor chassis with a printed canopy for the back half and a Launcher on top could look great, don't know about the Vindicator tho, a dozer blade on a Impulsor chassis might look a bit naff?
@Bloodchylde2012 yeah id go for the heresy version look for the vindicator. And maybe increase the size of the grav plates on the front. So instead of dozing rubble out the way it uses the grav plates to force it out the way. Just an idea at mo. There's already whirlwind conversion kits out there tho which is cool. That clip on so can still use it as an impulsor 😎
The very old rogue trader spacemarine in Mark 6 with the funky cursed gun and the boots would make a good replacement for that Lone operative Primaris model, because in my mind that is what phobos marines should look like.
@@dailydice Fortunately for me I do happen to have that rogue trader model and after examining the model I'm surprised just how fitting the oldhammer sculpt is to stand in the place of the Phobos Lieutenant. He has a bayonet and a dagger at his side which could represent the paired combat knives, the backpack is smaller which could be interpreted as the armor being harder to spot on enemy scanners, the boots give the model a much better silhouette and doesn't require scifi magic to explain why it's quieter, and whilst the guns he has are crazy they are charmingly wonderful.
Yea gotta say I love the Phobos marines (obvs there's 3 units in this list) and they are lovely to paint. The LT has blood acid drips. Deep scars down his face. Repaired armour with tyranid carapace. His model tells a story and its sick imo.
Some savage rolling on both sides there guys ! Orks do have an issue with armour sadly, I'm hoping we get some love in our new book 👍🏼 Not that it would have helped much dude but trukks get a 6up invul natively, can come in handy a bit 🙂 great report as usual, well played both
