Metamorphosis One - Philip Glass

I haven't had much direction with piano lately, so I think I'm going to try to learn/record/upload all five movements in the Metamorphosis song cycle. I'm going to try for one a week.
I'm way too into Philip Glass and I know I need to branch out, but whatever; it will keep me occupied.
I also skipped some of the repeats. Because, you know, some of us have stuff to do.

Hey Michael - I have really been enjoying your musical lessons so I decided to see all the other videos you have and found this gem! Hey, sorry to bug you if you catch this--I know this video is years old--but I notice that you’re doubling in octaves a lot of what is notated as a single note in my score. It doesn’t actually seem like it changes the difficulty of the piece, was it just a stylistic choice or is my score wrong? Beautiful performance, thank you--I’m learning it and it’s really easy to just let this be chords and repetitive passages and not a piece of music.
