- What is Bechdel Test?
The Bechdel test has three simple, unambiguous criterias:
A film has to have at least two (named) women characters in it.
These women characters at some point of the movie talk to each other.
They talk about something other than men.

As I go through the comments I see how this 1 got misinterpreted
"This was not meant for stereotyping men. It was meant to awaken women, how they are ruining themselves by lack of self love and compassion towards each other but rather dying for a man's approval about her beauty, her worth.. Bcoz that's what we were feeded since birth by " Not men" But again the elder "womens".
And that zero fucks given about a man
Wasn't meant to stereotype men or anything..
It was meant to stereotype women about how they make a man a centre of their universe, as if their world revolves around them.
Let me help through an example- there are girls in this world who instead of enjoying the time with her friends in the absence of her love, will ruin the mood of the whole lot, acting like there is no life left in her without him😑

I am so glad that I have my girlfriends with whom I can have conversations about anything in the world without fear of being judged or made fun of! I am happy that I pass this bechdel test! We talk about sports, video games, our views on politics, what we want to do in future, and how all of loves the idea of getting married someday and build our house next to each other! And I think that's how it should be!

@@sumantisaini if there ever were a bechdel test for men,we wld be failing it far more frequently than women do...... coz like most women are mostly seen as sex-objects by society,men are seen as success-objects (apart from being treated as sex-objects) by the very same society.......
So men are often deeply insecure among themselves as to whedr or not they can rise upto the pedestal....... unsuccessful men are treated like shit,their advances are mistaken for creepiness and thier whole aura is generally treated as repulsive!!!!...
Men have this enormous pressure to prove themselves to women,to society ,to parents and what not.....failing which they are judged heavily.......just like women are judged on the basis of thier looks, their paycheck,thier marital status and lastly,sad to say,thier "character" and stamp of "virginity"...
These deep feeling of inadequacy,this deep feeling of dissatisfaction and disappointed is deeply imbued into us,to make us feel less of a person....and we spend all our lives trying to "prove" ourself and in all this,we lose our self,.....
With such heavy brainwashing,how can we even expect to pass Bechdel test!!!...when all we have done in our lives is to learn new ways to flunk it...!!!..

Your poem is full of sadness and it made me feel gloomy. It's not like every guy is a jerk or careless who acts like a monster to every girl seeing them all just as a thing of pleasure or amusement. I am just a kid who learned all the right lessons on his own, thus I know how to treat a woman as a person. There are many boys like me whom you overlook anyway it's not your fault, Men know what are they thought as in the society.
After hearing your poem, I came to realise many things, Thanks for making me know about all the insecurities and troubles women face. Really all the lines were filled with deep emotions.
