griefers who figure out how to change the size of the world:
“Reality can be whatever I want”
Do a public realm where people have 7 days to prepare for a nuclear explosion
@VACCINATE YOUR KIDS ALREADY! if that thing where tnt in water won't damage blocks is still a thing then all you would have to so is cover your house in water
Shadow yeeeeeah kinda but no not really it would probably still penetrate the water and destroy at least a little bit of the house
Shadow yeeeaaah i Guess But something would probably Still blow Up because of how The tnt Will fly everywhere But Maybe 6 blocks would do The trick
@@sebskiboi9413 in any case it would be easy to do and wouldn't even effect the door if you did it right
Make a realm with extremely strict rules, but you dont enforce them
The underground houses are really nice!
And the flooding islands,
It's like a movie.
Destroying and grieving then
Living in underground, just like Nuking they're own world and hide on bunkers, just like apocalypse

*Final days of Soviet Union. 1991 colorized.*
@@Anthony-rn5bo True, in the years since its "dissolution" the Soviet Union only adopted a new name and shed a few problematic satellites, all the while remaining the same country for the past 100 years. The flag may be the Trikolor now and the anthem may have changed words, but the First Secretary... I mean President Putin still carries the Red Banner in his heart and Slav'sya, Otechestvo nashe svobodnoye in his mind, and many Russians still lower their heads when passing next to one of many statues of Stalin that stand to this day all over the Soviet Union... I mean the Russian Federation. Truly a legacy that will never die.
tl;dr: toycat learns why it's called "griefing" instead of "turning every block into air" ;)
By implementing a few psychology concepts, I think we can revamp this idea into something cooler.
We can refine a minecraft society to a nearly purely building focused society through these means:
Open and Announce two servers: one specifically for a "battle" between hacking griefers and hacking builders, and one specifically for non hacker builders. This is so that (hopefully) griefer that would naturally go to the building world to spite you may be intrigued by this new griefing battle server idea, and join it.
*Don't allow one person to join both servers, btw*
After the servers fill up, don't allow any more people to join after, and make a big deal about the exclusivity of their servers now, whitelisting the people that joined on time.
Now here comes the fun part (refining):
Through some societal dinamics, we can start "cleaning" the build world - take any hacker/ griefer you find on it and ban them/ transfer them to hacker server. Among other things, griefer on the nonhack build world that remain will eventually get tired of senseless desctruction, and will eventually stop showing up, while you actively encourage the builders. After long enough of this, you'll have a mostly refined society of dedicated builders on a server you'd be able to showcase the building, initial griefing, rebuilding and great buildings after a while, as well as the formation of builder 'clans' (villages that keep the same style).
Btw this isn't based on real psychology, just some barely logical stuff I thought about, but I think it holds some merit.
*Like so toycat sees this!*
That makes some sense; I'd call it making a buffer world. Theoretically, you could do this with a few worlds where you get exclusive membership based upon merits, time played, etc., and eventually end up with a little paradise at the end.
@@SF-zm2py i feel like if it were merit based more hackers and griefers would push through to cause real chaos
@@GoneGYT Maybe some, but I doubt it'd be a common trend if you made the bar high enough. I find that trolls & the like tend to go for low-hanging fruits most often. If anyone would be able to get as far as I'm thinking of, they'd already be armed for war and would get spotted almost immediately.

i doubt it
Yeah, it's probably just for fun
When you think about it, by asking them to grief, and they start building things, they are indeed griefing
Griefing is not destroying but mildly or not mildly vandalizing.
It can also be recreating in a new way.
I personally think the world was always great looking because it was always interesting.
I want to see more realm experiments
My theory is that this experiment worked like civilizations do irl. Conquer, divided, rebuild. Over and over again.
It honestly looks beautiful in a chaotic way. Especially the first 3 days.
You should do a test by letting players having 1 hour to prepare to survive in the nether for as long as they can, and maybe even participate yourself. Find a command to prevent traveling back to the over world or into the Nether after you make the transfer..?
@@PlanetXtreme I would just setblock the entire overworld to lava or something. That or there might be a way to set it up so that a repeating command block destroys portal tiles whenever one forms anywhere.
(Disclaimer: I have no idea how much of what I'm saying here is possible in bedrock. I primarily play heavily modded Java Edition)
Dude it’s fine I mean I’m not the one setting it up, but i think there is a command for that. Or IBX could just keep a very close tab on players if he couldn’t help modding it or command blocking it himself
Planet Xtreme I think the issue with that is someone might just put themselves in a cobble box and just sit there.
Toycat, are you gonna just ignore the fact you basically created a brand new minecraft challenge where you have to survive and thrive is a world run by griefers and hackers? Like, admittedly it may need some work to prevent it from being unplayable within a month when hackers and griefers try to invent some new and horrible way of destroying servers like these from the minute they are put online or something but there is legitimately a good, fun challenge here for those cunning enough to learn to thrive in an unfair environment where people can and will do anything to destroy everything.
It isnt new, anarchy servers (that’s how rule-less servers are called) have existed for a long time with 2b2t being the oldest
@@caxer3305 ok but I'm talking about a server where some griefers and hackers are given the abilities of an admin and- while they must stay within certain guidelines like "no lag machines" and "no replacing every block with bedrock" -are given free reign over a server and told "go nuts" while everyone else must fight to survive. It has rules, just that those rules limit only a certain number of people to not having rules.

3:10 this is the power of Made in Heaven
This is basically fallout in Minecraft
It’s like a society in a post-apocalyptic war that has so much destruction, but people have been creating a livable society inside that despite the constant setbacks.
The result of the war was horrible.
We had to build back up, many of us just dying here and there.
We moved mountains to cover the crater, and but some skyscrapers.
Then it happened.
“I think some dragon eggs would spruce up this area” hahaha
its so amusing to me that hes never there when the griefing is happening
the "beacon tower" was mobspawners with lightning in them since lightning is an entity, when you stood next to the tower you could see particles
Law of entropy: entropy can be lowered by external action. This applies to machines, however, only possible at the expense of an entropy increase in the surroundings.
The thing you though was beacons is lightning there is a repeating command block doing /summon lightning_bolt
Ok, so I had an idea. What about a server with limited resources, like plants, and trees don't drop seeds, and theres only a five deep mine before bedrock, and I don't know even how to begin codeing this, but animals don't repopulate, or re-spawn. How long would the server last, would people start trading with the richest for food, and mats? - Also limited water so people don't make water sources.
No one can deny that they have the urge to destroy anything of value. Neither can I, but I can just keep myself under control. The points is, I think people have this old instinct of destroying the valuables of stranges, AKA possible 'enemies' so that they have a greater chance of survival themselves, because that is after all what life is about, in Minecraft just as much as reality.
Its about dominance and how it ties to the ego.
I think your on the right track with that theory
Dude I really like you because you're the only one who is still uploading Minecraft even if fortnite is booming. You're a hella loyal Minecraft player 😂💪

How the hell did the hackers get the glowing bedrock from Minecraft story-mode into the base game!?!.!.! Im pretty sure to do that u got to hack the games code and full on add a new block to the game. Ill admit, your fan are dedicated.
True, didnt remember it was in the old ipod version. But it IS in minecaft story mode season 2
Glowing Obsidian. You used to get it from Nether Reactors back in the day. Now Nether Reactors are useless now but they still left the block in the game which is cool.
3:47 this is the power of my 「Made in Heaven」
The builds amongst the Destruction was actually kinda pretty. The floating chunks and islands, the homes tucked away within walls and the clever use of Obsidian, Bedrock, and Beacons. It was hauntingly pretty.
Griefers will always be griefers

Do one with reverse psychology. "Bet you can't keep this server grief free" or something of that sort.

I loved the underground city, the beacons made it look soo cool, I kinda wanna make a world like that city!!
If people had been more creative with the command blocks they could have leveled the entire place

18:47 wait, did someone write the N-word with diamond blocks, and then it was destroyed?
one of the next experiments should be this (I'm doing it in singleplayer): Have a 1.12 custom world, where the biggest amount of ores generate (maxing attempts, size and max generation height) then ask them to mine out as many ores as possible without mining a single stone. I'm doing it to see how hollow does the underground get like this. (I'm also converting the ores into resource blocks and making an ever-growing pyramid out of them, but it's optional)
you should do a server where an exclusive area of the world is grief-restricted but anywhere outside the border is fair game.
Communist realm but we make every thing actually ours
I asked stranger to destroy OUR communist realm... But this happened* Fixed your title
Really the only way to build a house which wont be griefed is covering it in lava yourself and make a small entrance people wont see. Theyll think its already griefed so they dont care looking there
Honestly these servers are the most interesting. People build weird eclectic fun things. I remember in ancient pre-alpha minecraft making my own base look griefed already and then then making a hidden room with my valuables nearby.
Could you run a server like the U.S. government?
You would have to create and organize a federal republic with free markets.
So you would first need to divide the world up into provedences or states, then you would need to hold elections in each of those individually for 2 senators. Then you would need to take census for each state and assign them a house rep number based on population, once that was done you would need to hold house rep elections then you would need to create a capital city and building where the house and senate could meet, then you would need to hold elections and it would need time for everyone to campaign and then you would need everyone to cast a ballot at the very same time you did this you would need to hold the same vote in the capitol building between the house and the senate(from here on forth that will be called the electoral college)
After that happened you would count up the popular vote and create a % based on who wont and who lost, this number would be called "the popular vote" then you would need to count the voted from the electoral college and you would need to add the electoral vote with the popular vote and the winning percentage would become the the new president.
(Were not done though!)
Now that you have secured a fair and free election your new president needs to choose 7 people to become supreme court justices. (By the way only the first president will do this and it should be tempered by senate, afterwords only 1 or so justices will be chosen by and given president)
Now you have you 3 branches of the gov. You can finally begin to build your American gov.
So now you need to create courts and jails all over with elected judges and sheriff's with a ascending court system whos appeals can eventually reach the surpreme court so that your constitution does not stagnate.
You need to create a fair and healthy tax system that enables free trade and incentivises small businesses and punishes monopolies. Then you need to figure out if you want a central bank(booooo!) That will eventually become an evil corrupt oligarchy or if instead you want competing banks(choose this one)
Ok now you got a foundation for your economy so you can start building infrastructure, so now you gge too hold votes for beurocrats like road building and health and safty firemen and such.
Ok now lets assume you figured out all your beaurocrats, their divisions, how much and of what they control.
Good because now that the civilians are done we can focus on the military!
Now your president needs to choose a general and you all need to agree on an army and the beurocrats need to agree on how much and when and for what they will pay.
Ok thats all taken care of and of course supposing you started with an iron clad constitution and supposing that the banks dont conspire to own the world through insidious debt slavery or a scam that creates a monetary system that generates more debt to pay off any debt due to the fact debts must be paid with only with the very currency who creates debt to make in order to pay its self off (ehem the fed)
Or assuming your military doesn't start a coup you can finally iron out the details, congrats you now have the most complicated incentive based society.
Communism works everytime its used! 💪🇨🇳

I have an interesting idea for a experiment. Each day you do a random lottery and who ever gets picked gets to be OP for the day. The next day you come back you take their power away and have another drawing and see how the world turns out with different people in charge.
This was a fascinating social experiment with interesting results. Well done. I just meant to poke in and look at the end result and ended up watching the whole thing end to end.
You should do a hytale review video
I think the thing at 12:50 is actually lightning summoned from looping command blocks stacked on top of each other and covered with bedrock instead of bent rays from a beacon.
I'd really Like to Download the world as a survival Challenge
I saw an animal just pop out of exisntence and die in the corner it is command blocks
It wasn't a spinning beacon. It was a lightning entity.
Can we appreciate that the "ugly castle" from the soviet video more or less survived this entire ordeal? now that's longevity
this is honestly fascinating to watch. the underground city and the society that began developing was mesmerizing
