I agree completely with that box and packaging thing! I actually asked Linsoul to sell me just the iems without cables, tips and minimal packaging, but couldn’t get it done, lol! ( I do live and studio monitors for those who don’t know)I change all the cables and use special foam tips for stage and studio artists, so I now have a hundred or so cables that have never been used, and hundreds of ear tips. You were right bro, the sound and camera work are really great!!! I’ve got these ,the Lan, and a few more coming in, looking forward to trying these!!! Sonny T
Thanks so much Sonny! Just gotta keep on the grind. I have so many headphones and iems I haven’t reviewed yet! I think I’m going to go through what I have now before I buy any more and thin out the herd haha.
I really wish these chifi stores would sell JUST the IEMs. I personally don’t care about the packaging etc, once they’re out of the box I stash the box away anyways. So it’d be great to be able to just pay for the IEMs to be sent in a tiny packet, where you can choose whether you want a cable included or not. Better for the environment, and cheaper for the buyer
@@hackinghifi4247 sure will! I’m working on that Chu mod, I’ll get pics and maybe a short video to you soon. I’ve done two and didn’t take pics on the way, they were out the door as soon as they were done! Also; I heard you talking about the design on these maybe flaking like the Aria. It dries in minutes, never comes off and gives a more expensive look to the Iem, like the gloss on the Cadenza’s. Thx for your thoughts, Jeremy. Perhaps this is another iteration of HBB's Mele or his fun QKZ set that's ultimately designed for HBBs Rock & Rap prefs. Here's a question: would you consider making a video about iems from your collection that you'd consider all rounders for difft price points? If you went on a mission to Mars and only had room for one set, what would you bring? What is the set you would keep if you decided to sell all your other sets?
That’s interesting! I’ll definitely keep that in mind that’s a good idea! Off the top of my head for $20 it would probably still be the 7hz zero since it’s so good for everything including gaming and movie watching. The moondrop LAN is probably my favorite all around for $40-$50 since it’s so well rounded and I still like the titan s around $80. My favorite for short bursts is the ikko oh10, it needs the right tips and good amplifying to feel full and powerful without feeling sharp in the treble but it’s an amazing iem.
@@hackinghifi4247 Turns out we have similar tastes! I agree about the 7Hz Zero, DUNU Titan S & Ikko OH10 both of which I absolutely LOVE. Haven’t tried the LAN but like the esthetics & build. The LAN looks like A CHU with detachable cable but no Spring tips, which really should’ve been included for the price point!
Great detailed review. I liked how you covered its effectiveness for various applications :) how do they compare with Moondrop Aria? (Besides the visual similarities) One of the reviewers said that they also sound a bit similar. What’s your opinion about it? Also, I’m vaguely informed about the difference between US and EU version of the apple dongle. Could you elaborate on that please?
Sure thing! Thanks for the kind words. The Aria was great when it came out but iems have come a long way in the last year or two and the Aria isn’t a good value anymore for build quality or performance. I don’t think this sounds like that at all. The Aria was basically bass and vocals and that’s it. This one is much more mids focused so guitars and vocals etc with everything else supporting the midrange. The EU version of the dongle is half the power so it’s not going to work on more power hungry iems. Thanks for watching!
@@hackinghifi4247 thanks Jeremy! I know Arias are outdated, but I have them and hence wanted to know if buying these will be redundant. Hi Sam! thanks for watching. Sounds like you’re a fan of the v shaped iems? It may be worth saving for the Letshouer S12. It has a great bass response and upper range energy that definitely feels premium compared to the the cra to me but gives a similar feeling when listening to it.
