    Hello brother, I was a proud owner of KTM Duke 390. Recently i have taken a test drive of Himalayan, the ride by wire works well, the power is produces after 4500 to 5500 rpm due to this there is a lag & more over Ride by is sharper than cable wire throttle system.

Being an electrical engineer I know it will be faster than traditional throttle, but I was referring to this particular motorcycle maybe even in general too, where there is lag in dethrottling, in the traditional throttle system, deceleration will be quicker, I can say you feel when you focus on it and try to quickly shift the gear...
      To add signals may come from electrically or by mechanical means, the actuator has to do the task right! While accelerating you won't feel this as it will be quite linear, but during declaration you feel this, it must not be an issue with Bike, it may be because of getting used to Ride by wire as well, reason : if you observe carefully, there will be free play for Ride by cable whereas it won't be there for ride by wire, this free play thing comes in if you are using ride by wire for the first time or recently you started using Ride by wire...

    Bro, actually ride by wire systems are faster than cable operated once any day. Not sure if there is a lag in your 450 (I felt throttle response to be good on 450 when I test rode it) but for sure electric signals are faster than mechanically operated cables.

      @@avinashg6268 am 5.5", off road alli ok it is comfortable, but traffic alli swalpa ಕಿರಿ ಕಿರಿ ಅನ್ಸುತ್ತೆ, but not a problem or shows stopper... Enjoying my rides...
      By the way I rode most of the Tall and big bikes and practiced off the road a lot, so it depends on skill and confidence of an individual better to test drive or borrow from closed ones and ride in tight traffic you can understand its behaviour and comfort..
