Always appreciate your reminder that running transcends the physical grind, and includes both the body and the mind, and the importance of resting and listening to your body. I've been enjoying watching your running vlogs while I do my longer treadmill runs this winter, definitely helps the time go by faster and you're so inspiring! ❤ Definitely agree that it's SO important to give yourself rest when you're sick. Also, if you get more allergy symptoms a natural supplement that can help is Quercetin, it acts as a natural anti-histamine. Hope you feel better soon!
This is very relatable, I just find out I have covid and I have to start training for a 10k pr in 3 days, so hopefully the weather turns around where I live and I wont have covid!
Anxiety around sickness is so real. I’ve found mine comes from that lack of control. I had a baby in 2021 and have realized I’ve been such a control freak my whole life and kids make life chaotic 🤪 trying so hard to go with the flow more but my type A personality hates it!

Sometimes rest can be a good thing, especially this early in the training. I think you will do awesome in the Boston Marathon.
