    Would love to hear your input on overtones and harmonics as well as a video on tapping!

      I would like this too. I remember a music teacher demonstrating this by singing a note into an open piano with the damper pedal pressed so that his voice came back out of the piano. It was so cool!

    Fly Me To The Moon should be awesome.
    I started All The Things You Are. I thought it looked like a lot at first but I noticed a lot of the song moves in 4ths. So it might be easier to remember the chords.

    Hey, I want the tab for that sweet tapping example you did. That was cool. Could you do a short break down video on that tapping lick and show us what was going on and what you could play under that chord wise. And maybe how we could create our own sweet tapping licks like that. Please. And yes, a harmonics lesson would be good. I'm sure you've heard the bass song Portrait for Tracy by Jaco Pastorius. Even though it's on bass maybe you could show us how we could do what he did by playing some chords that are a combo of harmonic notes with some actual fretted notes or open string at the same time. I've always wondered what notes I'm actually playing when doing natural harmonics. I'm sure there is a way to learn all your harmonic notes and actually know what are like knowing the notes names of your fretted notes. Thanks

    I have suddenly developed those High pitched ringing noises on my Taylor acoustic when I strum chords. Mainly on the the treble strings, but the d string makes that very High pitched sound as well. Tried dampening the head stock strings, even every string from the saddle to the bridge pin holes. Even putting tape under the nut slots. And still no joy . Very annoying now. I'm lost . Help anyone.

    I use electronics shrink tubes when I put the strings on since it stops vibrations DEAD!!!

    How much attention do you pay to your rooms humidity level with your guitars out of the case and hanging on the wall?

    • @soundguitar
      @soundguitar  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! I very much pay attention to it. I use a humidity sensor device, super simple little temperature gauge that also shows me humidity level, and I keep the humidity between 45 and 55 percent. I use a dehumidifier when needed but I've never had to add humidity. Will be different in different climates. thanks for asking ** Jared

    It’s even more annoying on electric guitar with lots of gain. I mute it with a piece of foam. Although guys like Tom Morello use it as a special effect. To each their own.

      Good question! No, a clip on tuner should still work just fine. :)
