This top-of-the-line Polaroid camera features folding bellows, tripod socket, PC Flash Socket and automatic exposure (with a Polaroid "electric eye"). Camera has a flip-up single-window view/rangefinder made by Zeiss Ikon. Finder has projected framelines and automatic parallax compensation.
Just bought one of these today..the case and all attachments are like brand new
I just found one of these in my storage closet (this used to be my parents' house). It's in box with styrofoam manuals and all. The tape was still on the box, but yellow and yearly fell off when I touched it. As someone who just started in digital photography a few years ago, I was shocked that I never knew it was here. I scored a graflex speed and crown few months ago, but have never shot with them. They need "tuned up". The shutter is very slow (front and back on the speed), so I'm sure they need cleaned and oiled or something. Just not sure where to get them serviced around where I live (and affordably).
Great video... Just purchased one today $14 near mint condition and I'm here checking it out. FYI( Myself being Audio Visual Technician in Vegas) helpful notes to help you audio levels. Use microphone directly in front and even a second Mic such as wireless lab pack with tabletop Mic. You can find Microphone engineer for such use at a professional price. You can also find some tutorials on replacing the 4.5v batter with three AAAs.
The 360 is the Cadillac of all land cameras it has a Zeiss Ikon viewfinder and it was the first land camera to have a electronic flash LOL. They are all great cameras I have a 360, 100 & a 103. They rock the house!
The Polarroid #268 Flash Gun. Available tested and with a new battery from the Film Photography Project Store on-line. If you buy from e-bay, make sure you ask the seller to open it up and check for corrosion. (The 1-AAA battery in inside the unit)
As you might already know, there are two versions of the 250. The early version (which I have) has a much larger opening in the rear window of the Zeiss Ikon range finder, yours is a later verson that has the smaller window. I think that's the only difference in the two versions. These cameras were made from 1967 to 1969 when the 350 replaced it.

The good news is that it does sync with electronic flash via it's PC connection. The bad news is that I've tried over and over to clean the black coating off the backside of the negative using the gel bleach method, and have failed with it miserably every time. I either scratch the hell out of the emulsion side, or get spots on it with the bleach. The positive is usable though for scanning.
Because of the age of the vintage cameras, each camera will expose slightly differently. Best to start with the Darken/Lighten in the middle and then adjust as needed! Happy Shooting!

My favorite is the 450 with the focused flash cube
If corrosion isn't too bad you can tip the corroded ends into white vinegar for 5 minutes. Then brush off the remaining corrosion with a tooth brush (make sure you throw away the tooth brush when finished!) Now, try a fresh battery and perform The Polaroid Shutter Test. (Search Polaroid Shutter TEst on You Tube). Good luck!

No, the 250 has a Zeiss viewfinder, not a Zeiss lens. :(

Hey guys I just got me a 100 plcamera I cleaned out the Len e the viewfinder in & out BUT it's a wee stiff when focusing moving the #1 buttons side to side SO can I live them up somehow to move a bit smoother? OR is that a bad idea? Anyone know .... What do u think mr. Rasso?
Look for Close-Up Lens #473. That is for the 250 camera.
Hey mr rasso what flash can I buy off you guys for my 180 Polaroid camera I know it's a old cheapy but I love Polaroids I don't want to buy a flash that won't work on this camera . I'm asking because it has a bigger lens like bulky & I think it will need a special flash ' I don't know 🤔🙄

Does it have a Zeiss lens though?
I believe the 100, 185, 190 195, 350 and 450 also have that finder. The 180-195 series will cost you though.
what type of battery is and how do u take it out?
Purchased a 250, triple aaa battery mod, and 3 poloroid pack films from the 70s, one of then from 1983. I was happy to see the shutter work. All three packs of film failed. The first two I had the black cover come right out, but the film pull tabs just tore off. The third I was unable to pull the black cover out. The tab tore off. Is this normal for old film? I'm not sure I want to throw away that much cash. Maybe this whole thing needs to be tossed out.
Yes, that film is way to old and will be dry. Discard or save the boxes as decoration! Enjoy some fresh Fuji FP-100c while still available.

You'll need a #531 4.5v battery. Make sure that your battery leads are not corroded. Search Polaroid 4.5v battery on TH-cam and you'll find other videos! (Also search on You Tube - Polaroid Shutter Test) Hope you get your camera shooting!

i have this model but the slidder the bottom says '75' and when i move it again it changes to another '75' why doesnt
mine have the '3000'
Every model has 3000 to my knowledge.
Check the battery. Also the cables can give bad connections.
Why didn't you explain about the flash unit at all? Do you only ever shoot outdoors?

Clean with soft cloth and maybe a little rubbing alcohol. You shouldn't need any lubrication, it just attracts dirt.

bro... back your mic off a bit and aim it towards you... you don't talk into the side of a dynamic vocal mic... it's not like a broadcast condensor mic. It's annoying hearing the audio go quiet then loud.
Does the 250 got tripod socket?
