I made a more refined guide video on Hyperlaser. I also added more new tips in the guide too! Watch it I guess. Its also shorter for people who need info quick.

Soooo, this is what I've been making this week, a guide! Well a themed guide to be exact. Dosed with unhealthy amounts of Yakuza references! I made this because mostly the guides I saw were either too long for my taste or didn't have anything entertaining. Though I might sacrifice guiding for more entertainment. Hopefully you'll learn something from this.

You made it really easy to understand, and not only saying how to play hyp, you put some funny clips to make ppl laugh. I enjoyed your video and keep it up
As a level 395, I can safely say that I agree on most of the stuff on this video! The only thing I don’t agree on are the maps, Iron cafe is a great map for Hyperlaser and he has many spots, especially after the changes in iron cafe. Chaos canyon is a mid map for him, but most of the time other phighters are distracted. Aside from that bit of a rant, great video! Keep up the good work!

a lil tip from katana main:
-run if a katana is staring at you, he'll use his Q move and bring you to danger
-do not think you can outrun katana, as his passive can slow you down, it's still best to grenade both of you and run to safer position
what ive tried for hyperlaser is:
predict where they will move and shoot there so by the time they reach that point, your gun goes off and damages them.
shoot and pray if you miss more than 3 shots and one of the enemies see you and are approaching you
panic and use M2 if you cant aim
spam Q and E if they catch up to you

As someone who is new to the game and attempting to learn how to play Hyperlaser correctly, this really helped. It's definitely not sloppy at all, thank you!
As another tip, hyper can do hella large burst damage even in melee range, if you hit all your skills and m1 after e!!
I cant tell if people can realize this or not since i usually die to good hyper players this way... massive skill issuw on my part.....
Ontop of that, Hyper's q, and regular headshots inflict wireframe which stops enemies from using any attacks. An incredible tool.
And one last thing, during the last few seconds on conquer, GET ON THE POINT!! Instead of the enemy team getting points and going into overtime with a 4v5, you can help out your own team into a 5v5 on point to move the bar on your side.
There's probably a bunch more stuff that you could do with hyper, but I'm just an avid hyper enjoyer so you can probably disregard what i say if you want to.
Yeah I should've talked about it called frontline hyperlaser but I didn't have have enough time, I'll will probably add more info about frontline in a updated video soon.
Here's another tip: be a damn chad and equip the damn Seraphlaser skin. Make the entire enemy team FEAR you upon ulting as Seraphlaser has THE loudest sound possible upon charging the ult laser. On a more serious note just don't make the mistake of camping the same area unless the enemies start to target you. You can probably get away with staying on the same place for a minute. If the enemies start start targetting, change your next position to something a little less obvious, for example, in Protect Telamon, using the buildings so that the enemy Hyperlaser/slingshot cannot aim at you but you still have vision on the middle point by staying behind the buildings instead of on top of the buildings wide open for a Katana to pull).

For volcanic shift do you have to hold on mobile?
how are you able to teleport cause im trying to find out cause when i hold "e" i doesnt work
(edit, i found theres a certain range you can use it and thats why)

i have a question: sometimes when i use his e, it doesnt teleport me but just does the explosion (even if i dont take damage). What’s the reason behind it?
This video was before his E got reworked, using E will just give you the instashot and 50% haste. Holding E adds in by making you teleport anywhere in a certain distance. (It still makes your primary shot instant and gives 50% haste for a little while.)
You can now do a Q + E combo for temporary 100% haste to escape and hold E to reposition yourself.

This guide was made before changes to e existed, hold e to teleport and press e for instant shot.

do you think hyperlazer needs abuff?
Currently as he stands, his kit can be strong but feels out of place compared to the rest of everyone else’s kits, especially when the game feels fast paced but that’s just my opinion.
yea me too. you struggle to move and hit a single 20 damage shot while theres 300 shields and people moving everywhere at top speeds dealing a lot of damage@@PeanutDudez
imo the speed reduction should be 20 or 30%, not 75 percent, its just way too much. also, i think it would be good if they added a passive where if you hit consecutive shots your damage increases, to reward players who actually aim good. so if you hit 20 damage ur next shot will deal 40 (or 80 if its a headshot)
but then the headshot becomes too op, so instead of doubouling damage with he headshot, it just always deals 20 more damage. so a headshot would deal 60 in that situation
i think that would make him too op but the i dea is that the damage he deals is just way too underwhelming when u consider the amount of skill u need to play him, and the slow and maybe delay is just ridiculous (closed maps)
also, by making these changes it would be really good if they removed the teleport, it just encourages camping it would be better to change to a ability where he jumps to the sky, and floats for a few seconds being able to shoot through walls and is able to see all enemies. also, like, that sounds too op but im coming up with ideas that dont encourage just sitting around in a cliff and running away the second someone comes by
