One thing people have to understand is that it's not saying that these cats are NOW loners. It's just saying that at one point they were. Take Crookedstar for example. He left the clans for a couple moons as a kit and became a loner before returning back to RiverClan. Also, Frostfur stayed behind when the clans moved to the lake on the Great Journey. She became a loner at that time. Also, Crowfeather and Leafpool became loners for a short period of time when they ran away from the clans. Berrynose, Mousewhisker, Hazeltail, and Daisy were also all once loners. Daisy's kits were loners for a short period of time before joining ThunderClan. Although some of these cats were loners for a little bit of time, they still WERE loners!

okay im sorry i know this is late but yes Crookedstar was a loner. for 2 - 3 moons, after his brother became an apprentice, he ran away to the moonstone, and after he became tired, he fell asleep in a barn. he was found by Mitzi and Fleck.
he stayed for quite some time caring for Mitzi's kits and left to go back to riverclan.

azurestorm Yamashita I know this was a joke lol. But just for anyone that was curious about Stick, he was a loner who appeared in SkyClan's Destiny and Hawkwing's Journey. He had friends named Coal, Percy, Cora, and I can't remember the other cat's name. They were enemies of Dodge and only stayed in SkyClan temporarily to learn how to fight them along with SkyClan's help. They helped SkyClan too when Darktail and his rogue friends took over their camp and killed over half of their clan. So, yeah!!

After he broke his jaw he left the clans for about 2-3 moons as a kit. He was cared for by a group of cats who lived on a farm before deciding to finally return back to RiverClan.

Crookedstar and Berrynose were never loners / or were loners. Berrynose was a loner as a kit, but only for like a moon. Oh and if you would list him, you have to remember his siblings, Mousewhisker and Hazeltail.
Also Crowfeather was never a loner. Only when he was with Leafpool, but that was only for like an hour, and he really didn't like commit to leaving Windclan.
Alsoooo, Frostfur was not the only one left. There were 3 other elders that stayed, I can't remember their names tho.
Also Graystripe was never a loner, he was only a kittypet for awhile. Then he traveled back to Thunderclan with Millie, #ILoveMILLIE I don't get why people hate her. I know she was bad to Blossomfall, but overall, she is not bad at all!!!
