Haus-Drachen is back, last time he had full Royal Dragonmaids, now he has Labyrnth and Evil Twin Royals lol. Guy is built differently(I.E made up of cash).

@@ytmikelol some people swear he also has Endymion. He doesn't really have every single card as a royal, but if anyone is a candidate to ever get 3x royals of ever single card it's this guy.
There actually is a soft summoning restriction in that if you want to use the Runick Fusion monsters, you can't have any monsters in the Extra Monster Zone. It really inhibits link players, for example. Obviously less so with Synchro and XYZ.
Yea, tried Runick Evil Twin for a couple of times. It's really good with draw power. Just remember when you to use your runick cards and always use their summon before linking the twins.

That runic swordsoul deck looked like a nightmare to go agaisnt.
On that "set to destroy" moment, some fail to realize that MP2 exists to sometimes avoid that. Emphasis on sometimes because we never know what happens anymore.
Up until this exact moment I couldn't even imagine that there would be whales as bad as this Haus-Drachen person, like I heard that they exist but seeing it, just makes me realize how much Konami must earn only through these types of people.

Anyone thats played evony (or any bootleg version because there were alot) will tell you there are people out there that will litteraly pay for an entire game singlehandedly. Personally i had a group of friends that was f2p that i planned on helping to carry in server, so i put about 3k into making the account top teir competitive. Only to immediately get wrecked and pushed outta the server by a guy that had spent well over 50k on his account, and dropped a few grand every gd event. Lesson learned no point trying to swim in whale infested waters.
This fucking idiot is the reason why Konami will never lower their prices or give things. They make money with players that are that stupid. He's not helping the game, he's making it worse. What a fucking moron.
mobile game ceos brag about people that drop 6 figures on their game but in yugioh atleast spending that much can get you pretty cards. Spending that much in most mobile games just gets you the same character any lucky schmo can get

Runick as an engine is fantastic at assisting decks if you’re goal isn’t trying to turbo out OTKs. Other note is I’ve never seen Waking the Dragon wasted so spectacularly before.

Runick is a problem, its so bad that I stop caring about my wins. As I see a runick card I immediately surrender. By coincidence I have a full runick deck after framing for labrythn and I refuse to play it. Fuck runick

I combined Labrynth with Dragonmaids since they have Dragonmaid Tidying. That's another waifu deck that you can try. Probably not the best, but it's fun.

@@amirbakkar3912 Atm, I use my Dragonmaid deck but cut it down to the important cards like Parlor, Chamber, Tidying, fusions. Added 1 of each furniture, 3 Arianna, 3 Welcome, 2 field, 1 Lovely, the rest are just traps and Dragonmaid extenders. I didn't bother with cutting it down to 40, might as well play pure if I can't spam my deck with a lot of traps. Although, don't expect it to make you magically win, I tried it because when my maids get ashed, all I can do is place traps/quickplays. So might as well add traps other than Tidying as that's OPT.

Prove me wrong but Runicks is literally the Death&Taxes archetype in Magic the Gathering, but in Yu-Gi-Oh form.
Nah, d&t doesn't try to mill you like Dimir mill in modern. It just locks you out of all of your resources and beats you down slowly. There's similarities but D&T's goal isn't mill.
A better duo?? Soul eating oviraptor and Babycerasaurus. Opponent has no hand traps, that’s an instant 3 negates on the field lol.

@@Flaredmetal Skill drain at least goes both ways and costs 1000 LP to activate. The other 2 flood gates don't give a shit and ALWAYS benefit the player using them.
In the beginning it was eldlitch/tri deck people hate, followed by sword soul, floo, despia ect. People will hate anything top/meta in the competitive scene. I'm refer to hose who use stuff like blue eyes an cry lmao.
I don’t think the complaints versus Tri & Drytron come close to the consistent hatred Stun, Branded-D, Floo, and Runick elicit.
The earlier Meta Decks were simply effective, while most of these latter decks are taking advantage of deficits in our current cardpool, and the fact that most modern archetypes are broken as fuck in Best-of-1.
@@shawnpanzegraf5642 i can understant the hate againts deck like floow or runnick since to deal with them you really need a very specific counter (in floow case you also need to deal with shifter locking you from using graveyard).
But the hate towards branded and swordsoul imo is more about people already sick playing againts those two deck since they always been in the meta since their release (especially swordsoul) but in term of gameplay its really not that bad, they dont take too long to combo and they dont put million negate on board (but fck protos, that card is just stupid)
But sometimes you also see some weird people that hate deck like scareclaw, labyrnth, marincess or other rogue deck for no reason at all.
@@jabermogwai5996 I don’t have any beef with Swordsoul, since it’s barely Meta without Halq. (1 Imperm or Veiler can kill 75% of SS hands, if you didn’t play & draw Heavenly Dragon Circle.)
My problem with Branded is more a problem with the basic flaw of Best-of-1. You can’t really build to deal with combo decks and control decks simultaneously, though *Fuck Super Poly* , no-counter cards are BS.
Otherwise, I think any card used to create a “Lock” should be Banned. They make the game all about the coin-toss.
I mean, these high-grind Control Decks with their crazy draw-power seem to my mind to necessitate more mass Spell/Trap destruction.
Let’s say you do your due diligence, and play a Feather Duster + 3 Twin Twisters. In an exactly 40-card deck, you will be incredibly lucky to see 2 of your Twisters or Cosmic Cyclones, so even in that fortunate event, and assuming you don’t get negated, you’ll have a shot at removing 2-4 Spells/Traps in the length of the duel.
Labyrinth and Runick can replace those losses in 1 turn, in 90+% of Duels.
Keeping in mind that using Twin Twisters requires you to pitch a 2nd card, there’s no way not to lose out in the grind.
Branded-D does the same thing frequently, you expend your limited resources to try spinning that Mirrorjade off the field, they flip a Branded In Red or Super Poly, and use it as material for the 2nd one.
None of these decks would be particularly broken in Best-of-3 w/ Side Decks, but here in MD?
Build to deal w/ the legion of netdecking tryhards all playing Branded-D, and you get your clock cleaned by Runick, Stun, Umi, or Labyrinth-Runick.
Build to deal w/ Runick-Anything (Difficult under any circumstances presently), Stun, Labyrinth-hybrids, and the Grass-variants, you get clapped by a combo deck.
I’m quite convinced the No-Win of yo-yoing between Combo & Control, with no reason to believe Konami’s going to make any meaningful improvements is why MD has experienced a net loss of players every single month, (Despite Konami turning a blind eye to rampant multi-accounting, no less.)

Because it's overkill in Deckbuilding. As witnessed in the Duel, the opportunity cost they heavily invested into potentially winning a Runick match ended up bricking them of other potentially good response cards for the Mirror. Maybe it could be bad luck that they just happened to draw into a brick Chaos Hunter in their first turn opening hand, but it shows that players kind of need to take it easy in the Runick responses because it'll cut into deckbuilding and consistency after a certain point as shown in that duel

There isn't a disproportionate amount of Runick matches played compared to other top Decks tbh. And honestly, that is where the concept of Opportunity Cost in Deckbuilding comes in. You want to run the cards that do slow down or stop Decks while also helping to support the Deck's playstyle. For example, because Labrynths have plenty of Fiend Support built into the archetype, run Trap Trick at 3 already and can easily access 2500+ DARK Monsters with Lovely Labrynth, Chaos Hunter and EEV are significantly lower opportunity costs for the Deck compared to other Decks. In Decks with playstyles where cards that are used against Runick are more difficult, it's best to keep those cards to a minimum to have a potential response, but to also reduce the prospect of bricking when draws matter

MD *desperately* needs more high-efficiency Back Row Hate.
It was bad enough with “just” Stun. Now we’ve got all the Runick & Labyrinth hybrids. Most of which use floodgates themselves.
Cards like Twin Twister and Cyclone just don’t cut it, when you have to fit enough back row hate to have a shot vs control decks, but can’t cut too deep without getting rocked when you match vs a combo deck.
The game is now in a state where people complete to see who is more disgusting.

So just throwing it out there the first duelist who had royal finished cards like his whole deck he installed a cheat mod that converts your cards ( all of them ) to royal finished so if you ever see people with that many cards that are royal finished they are 1000% cheating that mod cheat also allows you to unlock every card in the game so bring this to light if you see anyone with a fully royal finished deck report them for hacking or cheating and no im not being salty but sadly its true there are to many hack/cheats out there that ruin the game that isnt being resolved by konami and that is just one of them
