I’d love to play that solo violin part. :-) I definitely went through that moment of feeling uninspired and demotivated to compose, not being happy with what you’ve been working on, and it’s rough. I’m so glad you shared this though and even just putting out works and hopefully hearing the response from the comments can help bring that spark back.
Thank you! Yeah, it's hard sometimes. Especially since composing is such a solitary thing, all those feelings can be amplified. It comes and goes, I guess... but I try to keep working towards the goal. 🎵
I am kind of at a loss because I’m still searching through the myriad of things that I felt listening to this piece. It really just comes out and grabs you. And sometimes you have to be careful with sad pieces or those that evoke that emotion because it can be so sad that you don’t enjoy listening to it. Thankfully, because you are such a great composer, this piece does not fall into that trap! You continue to get better and better each time I listen to a new piece! Keep it up my friend.
