I tried 4 days trying to get stairs off rotating clicking those thing of it just stays on no matter what i do

@@lucleblanc777 so you have 2 buttons on your housing interface on the right. one is for snapping the items/free move them around, one is so you can't place items on one another. you want to click on the second one, then klick on the stairs, release them (so that it snaps back to it's place) then take the item you placed them on and move that away :)

The amount of ‘tricks’ you have to use to get the furniture up higher is crazy :o looks really good though!

@@YuiSamii yeah its very helpful especially since you dot have to spend ages glitching things up, you can just move things anywhere for the most part. Doesnt remove all of the frustrations but still a life saver

OMG, that is amazing! When I designed my apartment, I lost so much patience trying to get the bed up on the loft, and kept accidentally touching the stairs to the second floor and having to redo them again… Seeing you do it so many times so effortlessly is honestly very impressive.
Also, I’m amazed at the way you use those Hingan box thingies. I didn’t even think of using them as building blocks for furniture. It’s honestly so cool 🤩
Btw, which datacenter and server are you on?
worst thing is when you spent forever to glitch something up and then forget to fixate it....
some design ideas actually come from randomly placing items on the floor and turning them in every direction xD

I haven't been able to get the imitation square window to place onto the rectangular partition for the door-- it keeps showing up as not able to be placed. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a certain order of the wall you do to be able to place the imitation square window?
you want to place it from your housing storage. it will still be purple tho, but there's a hotkey in your settings for placement. I'd have to look it up what it's called. standard it's the * on pc.
it can sometimes still be that a message showes up that it can't be placed, then you want to try from different angles. just move your camera around a bit and it should work :)

the table wont stay up. i moved it to were i want it on the platform but once i exit out of the editing menu it wont stay floating on the platform.

I've been toggling the counter surface off but it still doesn't release the item attached.
tried to klick the item to remove once, the remove the item it's attached to with counter surface off? :)

@@YuiSamii I normally use a controller to play the game. When I hooked up a mouse i just left clicked then right clicked and all was good.

@@SmokinJames ohh I really have no idea about controllers. I only ever use it to record the showcases infront of the actual building process for the videos :D
all I get when trying to place is "can't be placed inside estate hall" what I am I doing wrong
make sure you're not trying to place an outdoor furniture
other than that sometimes it takes some other angles if you're placing it from your storage room :)
@@YuiSamii I thought I would start nice and easy with the white interior walls but the walls are greyed out, unless I am in the remodel interior mode but that doesn't allow me to place the walls. It has to be something so stupid that I am not seeing. Thanks fir the reply. Been playing this game since launch but never did housing, saw your video decided to give it a try and now I'm frustrated lol
ahh I see. you have the white interior wall in your inventory. with that you can remodel the already existing wall in your apartment. to place walls you'd need to get the white partition :)

I'm new to this game and recently bought my space in our FC. I can't place the wooden steps that low like you did in 3:02. Is there a workaround or has this been updated?
might be depending on the partitions used :)

How do you get the windows on the Partition ?
by placing it in the storage, then klicking it and using the keybind for 'open subcommands' to place them :)
Where is the bathroom in the apartments? It is difficult to function without a bathroom.

how did you make the L chairs move up!?????
by glitching them up. hard to explain by typing. but there are plenty of really good tutorials out there that show it. try looking up 'lift anything ffxiv' :)

if you mean the pink fence, they're a tabletop and can be placed on the loft :)
its a wooden handrail :)

Does the furniture stay when you leave the apartment?
yes it does. but you have to make sure you fixate everything first by rotating it slightly before leaving :)
How did you make your door??
with a stage panel/white ractangular partition and then place a imitation square window from the storage on it :)
stop useing the dumb trick and just use burning down the house its lets you put stuff were ever you want no trick
FFXIV prob have the ugliest graphics ever
