    You're a mad dog! Love your workmanship mate!

    Probably some of the most polished/well designed coils I've seen. Is the music/sound generation basically triggering the primary coil to ramp up every ~4ms (260 Hz middle C) - which then takes a ~100μs delay before producing the note?

      You you got the idea. The 100uS is where the arc is forming. It grows from small to large over 100-200uS. The rate at which you repeat sets the sound it makes.

      @@crazeman5522 🔴 What Is Islam?
      🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
      🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
      🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
      🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
      🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
      🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
      📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4) 📚
      🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
      🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

    Absolutely amazing. Thank you for this breakdown.
    Is the police tape for sound protection of they get that lowed then? Or is just to stop people from getting zapped?

    How come you have 2 fibers to each coil? And can you make a video of the controller you use? Thank you 👍

    So I understand that correctly you have an LC circuit (primary) that gets feeded with an AC square wave voltage in the resonance frequency of the primary and secondary coils. For the music you just interrupt (like the name applies from the interrupter) the current spark at the frequency of our music?

    amazing coils! would you say the most expensive component is the toroid and the part that takes the most work is the secondary coil?

    • @crazeman5522
      @crazeman5522  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah the spun toroid is for sure the most expensive signal part, I these are around $5k a peace. This is not the only option though you make get away with much less expense options like a ring toroid or even a metal tape toroid.
      Most complex is problem the controller (in coil controller and MIDI/computer side). Each coil has a full microcontroller, firmware, and other electronics to control the inverter and other parts of the system. This took a lot of time to design, test and perfect.

      @@crazeman5522 You paid $10000 for 2 toroids?? It's made of aluminium, not gold lol

    Amazing video, we are actually trying build a similar installation (maybe with 4 smaller tesla coil); the problem i: we can't find a reseller for tesla coil. any idea where we can find one that ships to belgium?

    Fantastic explanation Eric, thank you. I used to play with these in high school. Endless fun!
    I have to ask, never seen one this big on the market. What do one of these run price wise and where you do buy them?

    Do you share the schematic of the Tesla coil itself? I’m from Italy and here there aren’t no schematic for musical Tesla coil

    Hey Eric, awesome overview video! In some of your older videos i noticed the sound produced by the arc always got louder when the arc hit the ground. Why is that? Also, do you have to worry about rf interference with other devices?

    • @crazeman5522
      @crazeman5522  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This has to do with the amount of current flowing in the arc. When the arc hits the ground the impedance reduces significantly, this increases the current in the arc. This increases current flow create much more EMF that can interfere with microphones and other electronics. You will also notice that the arc gets more white, this is also due to the higher currents flowing in the arc during a ground strike.

    Do you ever get in trouble for transmitting AM radio with this thing? You can brobabky hear the music you play from the arc on an AM radio 20 mile away haha
